Also from ESPN.com:
December, 2009: Lubick is as tough of a player as you can find in the country. He never quits at anything, backs down from absolutely no one, and plays the game with great intensity. He isn't a pure scorer in that he doesn't project to be someone who will consistently create his own shot at the next level, but he will find ways to score without having plays run for him. He is a powerful finisher with quick bounce around the rim who sprints the floor in transition and attacks the offensive glass. He can bully people in the paint, stretch defenses to the three-point line, and drill mid-range jumpers. He's a terrific passer who should really flourish in Georgetown's Princeton style offense because of his ability to read defenses and make good decisions. He's added another 15 pounds of muscle this fall in order to be able to bang on the block defensively in the Big East but needs to be careful not to sacrifice any of his mobility.

Sure I am biased because I love St. Marks and Lubick of course, but nonetheless I am guessing that "Quality Education Academy" is actually none of those things? It reminds me of maxim that you should never trust a person who starts their statement by saying "trust me..."
"The two days of action featured some great matchups and culminated with Quality Education Academy (Winston-Salem, N.C.), led by 2011 phenom Quincy Miller's 24 points, six rebounds, seven blocks, three steals stat-stuffing performance, out lasting St. Mark's School (Southborough, Ma.) with Georgetown bound power forward Nate Lubick (21 points, 10 rebounds) in a double-overtime game that ended just before midnight."

Spoke with someone who recently coached against Lubick and thought he was really good.

You think UNC will be ranked that high if they continue on the path they're on this season? What if Davis leaves?

If Greg and everyone else stays we're no lower than pre-season #2.

EASY! Here's to GREG coming back and our bench going 10-11 deep! What ever Greg decides to do , I support 100% .. but man - ONE CAN DREAM!

No guru knows the answer to your question. Basically, your guess is as good as theirs. No "recruiting guru" could have told you Sims wouldn't be playing by this year. Same goes for Nate, although IMO Nate will bring a set of skills we haven't seen in quite some time and he will get 15+ mpg by the end of December '10, with or without Greg.

From what I read and see in clips I am exicted to get NATE on campus. He seems to have that aggressiveness and that court awareness we need for a kid coming into the "hoya system". Would you say hes like a combintion of the skills Sims and Benimon bring.

I'm probably more excited about Nate's toughness than any other big man we've signed in a long time. I hope he's in Alex Murphy's ear too about how good a hoya uniform would look on him.

Here's a providence fan's take on Lubick's performance (along with some other guys at NPSI): Does Nate Lubick have a younger brother? Friarbasketball sang his praises in December and he was even better yesterday. The kid has great footwork around the basket, is a great passer for a 4, consistently hits out to the arc and beyond, and flashed leadership ability in the huddle. He fittingly canned a buzzer beater (it didn't actually beat the buzzer, but that's neither here nor there) to cap a huge upset win for St. Mark's. A Ryan Gomes like game and persona. Love this kid.www.friarbasketball.net/2010/02/day-ii-npsi-more-khem-birch-please.html
