He has at least tweeted with Roy Hibbert and vice versa. Not saying that means anything because, well, it doesn't. But just wanted to pass that along. He may not talk but he does tweet!

If this guy enrolled in the fall, UCONN would win another national championship....I dont really see how he can pass that up. I wouldnt be able to.

Could. When was the last time the #1 h.s. recruit took his team all the way? It could happen, but it's no sure thing.

I'm getting the feeling that Andre is going to college this year or not at all.

I had read that, but also heard that his coach was very skeptical about his return to St. Thomas More. Andre has been very quiet about the whole process, and has been sure to never close any doors, which explains all of the "as of now" talk.

True enough, and I am sure you read this older piece as well-- www.zagsblog.com/2011/07/13/andre-drummond-wont-be-in-college-this-fall/Have fingers crossed, but for a recruitment that has been marked by next to nothing being said, what has been said by the kid himself hasn't been entirely encouraging.

Yeah I guess what I meant more than anything is that it would be more likely that he would attend college this year than next year, with the NBA looming as more likely than both options. Personally, I'm thinking that if the opportunity presents itself, he'll do everything he can to get to the league as quickly as he can, especially if it means bypassing college.
Also, here's a question. Depending on how the lockout shakes out, could it be a faster path to the league to enroll now in case of a two-and-done rule? Or will the number of years removed from completing high school be all that matters?

The NBA will live with that to get the 2 years.

Reportedly he will let the world know of his intentions tomorrow about what prep school he will attend or if he's going to go to college.

He's staying in 2012, attending Wilbraham & Monson, and has narrowed his list to 5. We made the cut along with Uconn, Louisville, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Personally, I think this kid is a wimp for choosing to dunk on high school kids for another whole year. Go to college. Play real competition. Prove how good you really are. If you do so, you're that much more marketable when you go pro.

He's not going any further away from Storrs...

so here is how it shakes out... he is either going pro or going to Yukon, Kentucky or Gtown. The other 2 schools have no shot.

Seems fairly obvious he wants to go straight to the league...can't imagine why he would want to play in high school one more year and THEN go to college and be one and done....makes no sense.

Sheesh, this kid decides to keep Georgetown on his list and this is the reaction of Hoya fans?
Look, no one knows what is going through his head. All of you making declarations about him definitely going pro or definitely going to a certain school are full of it. His own high school coach didn't even know what his next move was going to be.
I'm just happy that he is still considering the Hoyas, and think that other recruits that are also considering the Hoyas might take note.
