DaJuan is very simple: 1. His best skill is his shooting, whether three-point or mid-range. And now, according to another post, the scouts don't like his shot. He's gone from pre-season All-BE to an enigma. Lets hope he can turn it around in the last few games.

Dajuan is a talented guy--he just needs to play it out and do his best--and then this offseason-he can improve--whatever he's planning-he's got plenty of time. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get to your final goal--it's about doing it right and eventually getting there. Some guys take detours to Europe/Overseas before getting to the goal of NBA, others stay 4 years, others are ready to leave before that--but as long as you put in work and do your best--if you have the talent/ability--it'll happen.

That's fine. Summers is a good complementary player, we got it. But good, experienced players don't turn the ball over, make dumb drives, and miss layups (and dunks for that matter....let's count the misses) His experience alone should dictate that he wouldn't make these mistakes. In my humble opinion, he's trying to do too much, to be the leader of a young team when he's never had to be.

Going into this season I had DaJuan being the same kind of player as these guys. Sam Young, Terrence Williams and Earl Clark. I honestly thought he would be the GO-TO Guy for us, up until now that has not panned out. I will say things could be different if we had 2 things a defensive stopper and dominate rebounder. This would allow DaJuan to free lance more on defense and use his athleticism to defend the passing lanes, much like Williams and Young do. We lack a shot blocker and dominate rebounder so we can not afford to gamble on steals, which would lead to easy fast break athletic buckets which is DaJuan's game.
Not making excuses but our guys have to do everything. We do not have specialist. The perfect fit to help this team would be Jerome Williams. He played the other teams scorer and when the ball was on the rim he OWNED it. A player with that mind set would do wonders for not only DaJuan but Greg as well.
In the game of basketball we all know it takes more energy and effort to play defense and rebound. Our guys have to do everything. No doubt this takes away from there game.

Come on back DaJuan! Get Julian on the track and in the gym and let him start at the 5, Greg at the 4 and DS at his natural spot and make us forget the trials of this year!
