Davidson @ Duke in ULTIMATE METEOR GAME Not quite. Since it's Announcer Swap night, Vitale won't be there.

How badly do you think Dicky V begged to be taken off tonight's college game? It would have been super awkward to slurp the Dookies AND Steph Curry at the same time for 2 hours.
Interested to see how the Tennessee-Gonzaga game turns out.

If you like terrible shooting, incompetent offensive sets, turnovers galore, and officials who have never read a rule book in their life (Hi Doug Sirmons!)--it's called a BLOCKING FOUL gents--then Duke-Davidson is the game for you.
On the plus side, Jeff Van Gundy just correctly used "adroitly" in a sentence (describing someone's skill at going to his left for a nice twist). JVG 1 Dickie V 0

The team that gets all the calls visits a building where the visitors never get calls. Something had to give. I bet Davidson's not used to having 11 fouls called on them in a half.
What a pleasure listening to Van Gundy and Jackson tonight. They've made this game about 2% tolerable.

Ha, well put, Rock, well put. However, it's a 13 point game....time to give some calls to Curry and Co., so that this will be interesting.

"If you can't play, you coach. And if you can't do both, you ref."
Score another one for Van Gundy.

Well, with the way Syracuse has played lately, including tonight, granted against easier BE squads, it is certainly looking like we are going to go through a stretch where we play #2, #3, #13, Providence, #7 or so, and #2. That's just crazy.

Harvard up 33-27 over Boston College at the half Harvard 64-50 with 5:29 left. The BC hoopsters must have heavy hearts over the lack of integrity of the former football coach. Either that, or they have been reading their press clippings again.

Man, that karma sure is fast-acting! 20 years from now, when you look up "Let-Down Game" in the dictionary (i.e. Wikipedia), there will be a photo of Tommy Amaker shaking hands with Al Skinner while trying his hardest not to break into hysterical laughter.

Tyrese Rice takes the first 37 minutes off and then ball hogs 11 points in the remaining time before fouling out... while Harvard wins going away (82-70). Goodbye Top 25.

Is it just me or is Al Skinner a dead ringer for the navigator in Airplane II? Edited: Here is a picture of the actor: tinyurl.com/7tjzep

Wow. Harvard beating BC in basketball. I wonder if the BC cheerleaders did a "Letdown" cheer.
This result makes me very, very happy.
