Thanks for your insight, balla. This is more or less what I have been hearing, and Story struck me as a poor fit. I agree with your sentiments.

No disrespect to the cats that fellow these kids, but if the staff is after the kid---they must believe in him... Also, Hibbs & Noah should remind us why we should never question if these kids are worthy of bringing to the Hilltop..

I prefer to stay away from Oak Hill kids as a general rule, but this kid was an Oak Hill reject I have used the analogy of the gal still sitting at the bar during last call before. She looks real good at 1:45am, and gets way more attention than is deserved.

Also, Hibbs & Noah should remind us why we should never question if these kids are worthy of bringing to the Hilltop.. The staff asked to see his transcripts--that doesn't mean he's their top target. Hibbert was 7'2 and Noah was 6'11--you can see taking a chance on kids like that. A 6'3 stationary shooter who has issues off the court--no thank you.

I will take a JUCO like Roburt Sallie. He would come in, work hard and be gone. Plus he is actually a good combo guard.

It looks like Malik Story is visiting next week. This makes absolutely NO sense. Honestly, this kid is a bad basketball player, and an even worse student. Don't know if he had the same person take his SAT for him that took Brandon Jennings, but Gtown should want NO part of this kid. Heck I will take Gus Gilchrist, as a red-shirt Bigman with 3 years to play way ahead of this stiff.

NO! He is not good enough to be a project, because he has ZERO upside Ya know I'm always going to tell it like it is about a player(good or bad). If a kid can play I will give him his props. If a kid can't play, see Malik Story...

This is the first recruit I honestly have no clue what in the hell is going on with Georgetown? What interest would Hoyas have in a guy who was sent home from Oak Hill where you basically have to pass "breathing 101" to stay there--you can do just about anything off the court and stay--and Story was sent home prior to season. He's a one dimensional player--and while that dimension is something III covets--I can't see him taking a guy like this into the program--with all of the movement Hoyas have had-this guy has proven--he'll jump if he doesn't like how it's going. Who in the hell is he going to beat out for playing time? He'd be gone in a year and I dont' trust him to keep his grades up to avoid losing a scholarship.
Best thing about his visit--the program still hasn't offered. This one is beyond strange. I know Hoyas like to operate in a covert manner when it comes to recruiting--but Story is someone USC didn't want the day Brandon Jennings de-committed from them. He left Artesia to go to Oak Hill--with Jennings--and no matter how talented Brandon Jennings is--I'd want no part of that clown.
This one ranks up there with DeAndre Thomas--and you all know what I thought of that debacle. Whomever is pushing for this--needs to be brought into III's office because if it was III--the offer would've been given already. Let's bring in a 6'3 spot shooter who is best friends with a total clown, got thrown out of Oak Hill, and wasn't eligible to play at Ribet Academy. Yikes.

I trust that whoever on the staff is pushing for this kid, must have been sent some doctored video-tape.

I don't get it. First, balla writes that Story is not a good player, then RDF writes that Story would jump if he didn't like the situation. Jump where? Not NBA?

this kid can't be THAT bad if all these big time programs are recruiting him.....just my 2 cents No. Programs desperate to add a warm body are recruiting him. This kid has no business wearing a Georgetown jersey, representing the university, or purchasing a Gtown t-shirt. Malik Story is a 2 star talent, a 1 star student, and a 0 star character. On his best day I will give him low character. The closest he should come to Gtown is being dropped off at Dupont Circle. I want to know which assistant coach thinks this kid is worthy of attending Georgetown Furthermore now that I am irritated, George Lucas owes me $8.50(not including popcorn) for Indiana Jones. WTF was that. Now we know why it took so long to produce that junk, they had to watch all of the installments of the Aliens movies. I was waiting for Segorni Weaver to start floating on to the screen.

It's obvious you hold some sort of grudge against the kid for whatever reason...because you can dislike a kid without being so negative about it. You're crossing the line with your comments for a kid you don't really know.
