Clearly there is some portion of this board that misses the ability to ignore posters.

Clearly there is some portion of this board that misses the ability to ignore posters. If only the ignore function actually worked again.

My vote is for the moderators to kick schiavoed off this board. He's a parasite on Hoyatalk.

As worthless as the comments on this thread have been, can anyone with only 17 posts really be considered a parasite?

Clearly there is some portion of this board that misses the ability to ignore posters. If only the ignore function actually worked again. It does work. You have to click on the to-be-ignored poster's name to reach there bio and you will find the ignore button there.

I've done that and posts by said individuals are still showing up. Guess you will have to put your own blinders on then, that's all I've got.

video was great and chronicled midnight madness thru the opening game, the nonconference schedule, thru the big east season, the big east tourney and the NCAAs. It finished up with a video tribute to the four seniors. We are now in the speeches and our president is delivering a sincere tribute to the seniors.

Great ceremony. A wonderful tribute to our seniors.
Anyone have a link to that Feinstein article that was mentioned? I'd love to read it.

Just to copy what I just wrote on my blog about tonight:
Words cannot express how much the Georgetown Basketball Class of 2008 means to me.
Tonight's banquet was wonderful and re-enforced yet again how Georgetown basketball truly is a family. A family that I would not trade for anything. I'm tearing up writing this because I just think of how much the guys graduating this year have dominated the last four years of my life. Georgetown basketball has been a part of my life since birth (one of my first stuffed animals was a Jack the Bulldog with a Patrick Ewing jersey my mom made for it), but it wasn't until I went there that I realized how much it meant to my life. Even in the hard times, the Esherick era, losing to Davidson, at the end of the day, the family was still there to pick up the pieces and move on. That was a big part of tonight. Not just lauding the senior class yet again, but to look towards the future and know that while everyone outside of the room may jump off the bandwagon as fast as they jumped on it, the people inside will stick together bound by their love for the program.
