I remember watching the Dunk and 3 point contests in the past, but not this. It must be new, hopefully it will be televised.

Jon with Foster, Singletary and Thompson will be a nice team. I guess some like the addition of Nelson, but I don't really care about a Dukie.

The game is at 5 on Friday, but does anyone know if it's being shown then on TV or on tape delay? What channel? Thanks.

From Sports Illustrated this week:
Friday, 4/4 College All-Star Game March was maddening for Duke and Georgetown, as both were upset in the second round of the NCAA tournament. But senior guards DeMarcus Nelson and Jonathan Wallace will still be in San Antonio, capping off their college careers in the 47th annual showcase. Both are borderline pro prospects, but if the NBA doesn't work out, they'll be ok. Nelson will graduate with a degree in cultural anthropology, and Wallace has been accepted by Georgetown Law School [totally comparable, right?] CBS College Sports Network, 6 p.m.

I have never heard of the CBS College Sports Network It used to be called "CSTV" but this is their new name. They replay CBS games during week--in both CFB and CBB--and have had NCAA games all month--and yes I finally saw the 2nd Half of the Davidson game and was even more disgusted.

If they didn't change anything but the name, then it should be on Dish Network Channel 152. DirecTV has it as well, but I don't know the channel off the top of my head.

Well, he could get a job as a, um, well, I have no idea what sort of job you get with that degree.

Remember, there were some Hoya greats who graduated with degrees in Fine Arts (and I remember plenty of fellow non-athlete Hoyas who were English/Philosophy/[insert degree that is unlikely to support a job search in the current market here] who did OK for themselves after graduation). Let's not throw stones while we live in glass houses.
That said, Wallace's getting into GU Law is a pretty nice indication of the seriousness with which the program continues to take academics.

Let's not throw stones while we live in glass houses. For my answer to this silly observation, please start at the 2:48 mark of this video:
