Remember, there were some Hoya greats who graduated with degrees in Fine Arts (and I remember plenty of fellow non-athlete Hoyas who were English/Philosophy/[insert degree that is unlikely to support a job search in the current market here] who did OK for themselves after graduation). Let's not throw stones while we live in glass houses. That said, Wallace's getting into GU Law is a pretty nice indication of the seriousness with which the program continues to take academics. I'll throw all the stones I want, thank you very much. The difference is SI wasn't touting Ralph Dalton and his ability to fall back on his fine arts degree (as a hypothetical).

Let's not throw stones while we live in glass houses. For my answer to this silly observation, please start at the 2:48 mark of this video: - love it. So I suppose if I'm an English major but I can get a high-paying job on Wall Street if I bond with an alum about Nelson's "degree" in Cultural Anthropology, it's OK.

So the game is on now...actually not a bad game. As the announcers are continuously reminding us, they're playing a lot of team ball. Jon didn't start, but he's been in about half the game so far. No shots, but he's doing a great job running the team. The announcers like him a lot; one said, "When the ball's in Wallace's hands, it's like AllState," so I guess that was good. Nice to see him out there again.

How did Wallace do? Any box score or anything for this?
