That's been Wallace's problem: NOT ENOUGH HALF COURT SHOOTING!
1. Ewing better not be hurt. He was limping around there. 2. We need to do some things better. Let's start with EVERYTHING.

Nothing to do with Depth guys--has to do with fact that for most games--team shoots a lot better in one half--against UConn it was the First Half--and if Hoyas hold to that pattern--we should see a big 2nd Half from team shooting wise--and right now I'm just happy Hoyas are ONLY DOWN ONE. This style of play is how Pitt plays--and it's why they are a tough team--they contest your cuts, play great defense, and you have to get ball up into frontcourt quicker to try and beat them before they get set. Macklin did a fine job of doing so and made 2 sweet moves and was active. This would be the game I'd try 2-3 minutes of Roy and Vernon together--that way Vernon can chase the ball out top and Roy can anchor the paint on defensive end. Especially if Pat is banged up. Hope it's something he can walk off. Sapp has to give the team better play for 2 halves--this half stunk from a total game standpoint and he's better then that. You know he'll make a big play in 2nd Half--specifically later on in the game--but he's talented enough kid to expect more for ENTIRE GAME. The sloppy passes/turnovers are inexcusable for a player of his ability. Wallace's 3--hope it has same effect as Sapp's against Nova a year ago. Summers floats/stands too much on defense--he's in foul trouble for the 3rd straight game--and while that one call was ridiculous where Blair was under hoop--it wasn't a foul--should've been play on--if Dajuan just drives avoiding contact and goes up to dunk strong--he gets easy two. Don't play for contact--play to score. Roy is playing solid game--loved the assists and he's been aggressive minus the one miss where he pumped and Blair conceded the dunk. Rivers--WAKE UP!! Damn near cost the last shot due to the fact he was not hustling to get ball inbounded and he should've had ball after Macklin had a nice block but he wasn't alert. GET INTO THE GAME!! Tonight-another game where Chris Wright's tenacity is needed, not to mention his quickness. But he's a pitbull and just tougher/more alert-he would've snagged that ball off block and would be ragging Ramon. If Hoyas get solid guard play--they can win this game pulling away. Just run the offense and take good shots--and work hard on defense to force Pitt to shoot off the dribble--make them put it on the floor to shoot. I'd try to up the tempo too--especially even more now seeing that Stacy Dales and Digger say this is a "tempo Georgetown prefers"--proving they don't watch Georgetown play. Feel it's a game that Hoyas can make a big run if they just get a stop and the lead. If they can get lead and stretch it to a few possessions, they can break out in this game.

Both Rivers & Ewing were limping, I hope both of them can walk it off. We are already a little thin with Wright out and Summers with 3 fouls.

How did they hit 2 threes in 19 seconds?! I'm stuck watching the ESPN gamecast.

Pitt is playing like MEN--and the Hoyas are playing like PUNKS. BE STRONG WITH THE ****ING BALL!!! Geez. Summers might as well sit with the WEAK play from him. How do you lose Ramon? He's played 4 years in the league now--he can do ONE THING--shoot and we lose him and leave him open? I stand corrected--when you don't show up to play a tough team--and your guards decide to play like crap--it won't matter if you shoot 100%--because you are getting ripped and stripped of ball every other possession. Credit Pitt--they WANT THIS GAME and Hoyas act like it's going to be given. It starts with being STRONG WITH BALL and if I see one more fumble/bumble, guy fall for no reason and go weak to hole--they don't deserve to win. GET TOUGHER!

Does anyone want to compete.
I apologize to Pitt. They are 10 times mentally tougher tonight and are about to take Hoyas to woodshed.
Sorry for assuming a team might want to show up on the road against a team who wants to slit their throat. Instead--you have guys who can't dribble without tripping/fumbling the ball.
GO UP STRONG--everything is soft. The 2nd unit is the only one who has shown a willingness to get after it. I'd take Summers down right now--go to Ewing, Macklin, Hibbert, any guard combo you want--and get Sapp off the ball-he's been awful on both ends tonight.

Ewing's back! Maybe that will wake up this team! We need his toughness today!

This is ridiculous right now. We do not look like we know what the heck we're doing right now. Hope they can turn it around quick cuz this game is still there for the taking if we can get it together and start running our offense and our defense properly. Just takes a little composure. Come on guys.

Georgetown is NOT going to win this game--that thought is over. You can shoot well, do anything--but if you don't want to fight in the Big East--you will not win.
I just want to see who really gives a **** about playing tough rest of way. Hibbert has--he missed a shot but he's playing hard.
Guard play is F- level tonight--just flat out SUCKS. Weak with ball, awful defense. If Ramon is one of two guys--run to him and make other kid shoot.
How many open shots have Uconn/Pitt had the last 2 games? WIDE OPEN LOOKS?
GET YOUR ASS IN THE GAME AND FIGHT! Let's see who has some fight in them.

we're making ramon look like freaking jordan. we're giving them wide open looks every possession. when they do miss, we sit and watch them get a rebound.
