And we also had losses to Duke, Oregon at home and to Old Dominion at home in contrast to just a loss to Memphis at Memphis. It's not certain we're going to drastically improve, but you've gotta leave the door open, right? I'm an Eagles fan. Watching the Eagles season unfold is like assuming anyone that you flirt with at a bar, no matter how well it's going, is either a) in an on-again/off-again relationship with someone who has anger management issues and a large knife collection who just happens to be walking through the door, b) only paying attention to you because he or she lost a bet, or c) trying to steal you kidneys. One of the most frustrating things that I've had to accept with Georgetown under this regime is that a loss is occasionally just a loss and does not show the achilles heel of the team that will lead us to failure and torment. Don't you mean "one of the most encouraging things"? Or are you, like any Eagles fan, a masochist, and JTIII's steady hand is a disappointment? ;D

It's frustrating because I have to train myself not to go insane over every loss. The Eagles have consistency - you know deep down in your soul that they're going to blow it. Kinda sorta like the Cave in the Republic - moving from expected failure through the pain of realization that it doesn't always have to be that way to eventual happiness and wisdom.

OK. Basically, everything that could be said about this game has been said. So let's lock this sucker up and start focusing good vibes towards the ND game. Based on our averages this season, I expect the team to go 16/20 from the 3-point line to make up for the last game. Hoya Saxa!
