Georgia Tech, Clemson and North Carolina all punched their ticket to Omaha today.
Other Super Regional action: Fullerton can get to Omaha tonight if they can hang on to beat Mizzou (3-0 in the 2nd right now.)
Miami is down 1 game to none at the Ole Miss super regional. SC is up 1 game to none at UGA. Rice is up 1-0 in the series over Oklahoma.
The other series just started - Stanford at Oregon State.

Congrats on the Tigers advancing Tiger. I caught the last few innings of both games, and that is a gritty, talented team that yall have.

Fullerton is up 9-0 on Mizzou in the 8th so that half of the bracket for the CWS is about to be completed. Oregon State is up 1 on Stanford late in Game 1 of their series.
Colvin had a great week for the Tigers. First he goes 13th in the draft and then he gets the walk-off grand slam Friday. I've been impressed with Oral Roberts the past 2 years at Clemson in the postseason (regional last year, Super Regional this year.)
Clemson-Ga. Tech, UNC-UCSF should be that half of the bracket now on Friday. Clemson and Tech have been very, very evenly matched overall this year (series tied 3-3 including 3 games in the ACC tourney.) I think Clark may start for Clemson. He was a junior this year but introduced with the seniors on Senior Day since he graduated and wasn't expected to be back. He pitched a handful of innings all season and then came in to start at the ACC finals and pitched 8 and a third in the win. He's had good games both weekends so far in the NCAAs and had to push back a bunch of job interviews he was originally planning to do right now since he wasn't expecting to be on the 25-man roster for the NCAAs until his ACC tourney performance.

Thanks for the info, Tiger.
Certainly much easier following you than any number of "professional" web-sites.

Georgia wins 11-5 at home to tie the series with South Carolina at 1.
UPDATE: UGA wins the coin toss for tomorrow and chooses to be "visiting" team. Not sure why unless they like the 1B dugout in Athens (NCAA rules put "home" team in 3B dugout for tourney games.)
In past years the Dawgs have also chosen to be the 3 pm Friday game when hosting a regional instead of the 7 pm game that same night, so who knows.

Miami blanks Ole Miss 7-0 to force Game 3 in the Oxford regional tomorrow. Doubt I'll be up for all of the west coast game tonight (Stanford-OR St.)

Oregon State's final margin was 14-0. The Beavers punch their ticket to Omaha. If South Carolina wins today we will have the possibility of the Cocks playing the Beavers at some point on that side of the bracket.

3 and possibly 4 teams from the ACC in the CWS? This is a very impressive accomplishment, even if Miami might be the 4th team.

Think the ACC might have had 3 before but 4 would probably be a high for the conference. That being said, Wake Forest in the 50s was the only team to win it all while a member of the ACC. Miami was independent when they won theirs.

9-5 with runners on the corners for Rice in the bottom of the 7th. New pitcher coming in for the Sooners.

Rice wins and goes to their 5th CWS in 10 years.
Bad storms in GA and SC right now. Looks like they might have delays in Athens tonight for SC-UGA.

Cleared up in Athens now, just cloudy. The decision to not play earlier in the day and pushing it back to 7 almost cost them.
