The game in which we destroyed Chris Mullin and the Johnnies is hard to top. Coming back against BC at BC down 7 with 30 seconds to play is also a great memory. Maryland at the Amory. The BET game in which the Pearl showed how great a college player he was. I loved playing Syracuse because they were really exciting and good. Just not quite as good as us!!! Finally, the Kentucky game. Joe B. Hall was reduced to stammering trying to describe the Hoyas. We held them scoreless for almost half of the 2nd half.
Actually the UK shutout was over half of the 2nd half; something like 11 minutes....

85 SJU -- the Johnnies always better at Cap Centre than MSG--GU goes down early, mounts a furious comeback, falls short by 1
85 SJU -- MSG, the Sweater game, the first of 3 hurtings on the Johnnies by GU
85 BET -- GU runs rampant. Ewing reverse dunks over Wennington in the final
