The Flash are in trouble if their starting FB is not known for his "offensive prowess."

St. Francis TD on some pass defense miscues and a personal foul. 30 yard pass brings score to 16-7.

Sloppy so far on O and way too many penalties. Encouraged by the fact that we're already halfway to last season's FG total in one game. Kicking killed us last year.

The QB situation seems to be an issue in the play calling, but the red zone performance should be concern.

Crawford has been in every play. I'd guess he's only about 3-7 of something.

More red zone troubles.
Georgetown opened the half and drove to the 18, gave the ball over on downs after a 4th and 1.

That's really got to be the major concern that's emerging from this game. The Hoyas appear to be executing passingly well, but not when it comes down to crunch time. I don't have a handle on what the passing game efficiency numbers are like (or rushing numbers, for that matter), but having St. Francis shut you down in the red zone consistently won't bode well for the remainder of the Patriot League season.

It is now2;50 pm what is the score and who is the qb and how is he doing thanks. Crawford's still in, GU's deep but stalling (Gilman in to attempt a FG), and I believe it's still 19-7.

Georgetown 22-7, 4:45 3rd.
Crawford really struggling--fumbled the ball on a third and one and threw threw straight incompletions on the next series of downs.

Nice job Gilman but let's get in the end zone. QB switch coming maybe? Could it hurt just to try Cangie out?

The Hoya's new O.C. has said he is not the kind of coach to switch QBs a lot- I have to think there is little chance of seeing the kind of fluxuation we saw last year. Admitedly without having any insight- was not thrilled to see them go with Crawford. Seems like if he was going to get it done consistently, he would have shown it last year.
