The complete postgame quote from Jujuan Johnson: " We watched Georgetown on film and saw that they were lazy on defense and didn't really want to guard". What an embarrassing indictment of the program. We now even have opponents openly questioning our effort. He had best get flattened at some point during their visit to Verizon.

I actually entertained the idea of taking my son down to the game on Saturday. Then I watched last night and was convinced I was out of my mind.
The point guard play on this team is so substandard right now. It makes the team exceedingly difficult to watch.
Any chance Waters enrolls tonight?

It was a real profile in courage for the President, in the face of these Israeli transgressions, to take a firm, gutsy stand and abstain.
He is all steel that one.

Could not happen to a better or more deserving guy. Will instantly be as inventive a back line player as the US has.

While it is unconscionably early, there is nothing better or happier than the bedlam of Christmas morning with happy and healthy children.
Merry Christmas to all!!!

From Harry and our entire family, a Merry Christmas and Happy, healthy New Year to our extended Hoya family.
The support my son has received from the folks on this board over the last few years is a debt my family can never repay.
God Bless you and all of your families.

The difference between us my friend is that you take this board (specifically the B&G sub-board) seriously while I find it wildly entertaining and get a great laugh out of most of it.
Chocolate and vanilla my friend. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, life is too short...

For sure and I don't disagree there, but I'm not sure where all the "he's restarting the arms race" stuff is coming from in many media sectors after we already commit a trillion bucks to it. He was quoted as saying "Let there be an arms race" is why I think. Obama or any President imo talking "modernization" of our nuclear programs sounds reasonably safe while "Let there be an arms race" sounds scary and hawkish. It could ultimately mean the exact same thing, we don't know, but words matter. For a foreign leader ally or foe how do you view it? You start talking nukes people pay attention. I for one like a good arms race. The last one buried the Soviet Union. Thank you Mr. Reagan.

Jerry:
Your points are all spot on and valid. Unfortunately, to many they will have no weight because they dare point out the Emperor has no Clothes on this issue.
If Mr. Obama would admit his antipathy toward Israel one could at least admire his candor.

I don't dislike Israel and I'm not interested in a biased info dump about their existential goodness/badness. The illegal settlements are illegal regardless of the fact that other countries do bad things. It's a huge geopolitical headache for us. They have no problem giving our government the middle finger when they want to do something their own way, I'm not sure why I, as an American, am supposed to be outraged when our government does something it feels is in our best interest. Or when our government does what Mr Obama thinks is best irrespective of what is in our best interests. We have one real ally in the Middle East and Obama had crapped on them from day one. No one can be surprised at this 11th hour insult.

The most anti-Israel Administration in my lifetime goes out with a feckless, cowardly whimper.
Well done, Sir.

Sorry to see him retire but know he will succeed in the bigger game. One of the nicest people I have ever met. His kindness to Harry over the years has been remarkable.
On another note, nice to see that Steve took advantage of the educational opportunities at GU to set himself up for the time when his soccer ball deflated. Coach Wiese has student-athletes in every sense of that word.
A true credit to his family and to Georgetown.

At least they raised the price. Those Hillbillies sold access to the Lincoln bedroom for way less... The Clintons suck, or even worse, all politicians suck, is a way of spreading moral smog to try to normalize Trump, to attempt to totally redefine the acceptable down until Trump seems typical, not extraordinary. Or maybe, just maybe, all politicians, especially the Clintons, actually do suck. Joyeux Noel
