I hate to have a whole thread on this, but I guess not enough not to make the thread.
Anyway, does someone know when the box office at MCI will be open before the game tonight? I've always had student tix, but alas as a graduate, blah.
Ideally I'd get some tickets and then go find a bar, I'd much prefer that to the other way around.
Actually, any suggestions on a not super expensive bar near MCI?
Thanks for any help. HOYASAXA

Apparently I suck at finding things on their website.
Thanks for the reply.

Anyone got any information/ideas as to what the crowd is going to look like tonight? Are we talking near-sellout? Sizable Illinois contingent? What gives...would hate to see replay of Duke last year or EVERY ND game at MCI

according to guhoyas.com, there are limited tickets still available for the game. i guess it won't be the same crowd as the duke game, unless there are a lot of people buying tickets last minute, but it should be pretty close.
it is going to be a great atmosphere. the student section will be rowdy, the georgetownized version of the princeton offense will be precise, our defense will be stiffling, and i'll finally get some bragging rights over all my friends from back home in IL who go to u of i.
let's go hoyas.

As of Tuesday, there were about 2,000 tickets still available. Capacity is around 13,500, as the upper deck is closed for all GU games this year.

Capacity is around 13,500, as the upper deck is closed for all GU games this year. I like the idea of that - except does that mean there are no more "cheap seats" (other than the freebies that go to community groups)? Heck of a way to build community interest ...

Nah, there are some $5 seats (back couple of rows of the 200 level in the endzones, and corners).
