thats has the HUGE potential for us to take another enormous step in getting georgetown out there as one of the top programs in the country, not only right now, but for MANY years to come. the whole country will be tuning in on saturday to see the beautiful hilltop in all its glory and all us hardcore fans (bundled up in below-freezing weather likely) screaming our heads off and showing how we do. I agree, planning needs to start going into this NOW.

The ESPN link shows Carolina-Duke on March 9. Since that is the date of the conference tournaments, we know it can not be correct. For me, it calls into doubt all of the other information. I hope that I am wrong, but I think this list is just some preliminary speculation or someone's wish list.

GP, I actually think the 3/9 game is right. The college hoops season ends a week later this year than it usually does. Figured this out when I was looking at Final Four tix for next year (that's right). The BET actually starts on Wednesday March 12th in 2008 (according to a website I just looked at).

I remember someone saying that the Big east tournament and spring break don't coincide this year. I guess i'll be missing two days of school then.
