Phew, good thing Huggins got out of there before it tarnished his reputation.

Fresno State must have gotten a VERY strongly worded letter. They were the worst offender, with an APR of 787, but lost no scholarships. (The only two other schools with APRs under 800 received a warning letter and lost two scholarships)

Marquette barely stayed afloat. What's their deal been? 1. lots of transfers 2. not a great school to begin with

Marquette barely stayed afloat. What's their deal been? 1. lots of transfers 2. not a great school to begin with While I know nothing of the quality of Marquette as an educational institution(though I thought it was a good school), if indeed they are not that great a school, would that not make it easier for them to keep athletes eligible and thus have a higher score? Just curious...

Just curious... I didn't say its not a good school, I meant that its a school with a wide range of academic levels and allows more students to fall through the cracks than say us or ND.

I disagree. Marquette, while not quite a Gtown or a ND, is a very good school. I applied there and considered going there. It has some really strong programs.
