All Roberts needs is 2 from NYC, eh? If we could consistently get 2-3 of the top DC area talent, I'd declaire that a major achievement. Let's hope Broadus & Co. help JT3 real in the big DC dogs. The WCAC is going to be ungodly competitive this year. Dematha ought to be ebtter than last year, Gonzaga, O'Connell, etc. will be good as usually, and even Chucky Driesell's Cardinals of Bishop Ireton should be good. My school? No comment.

From that article:
"Former Indiana University professor Murray Sperber, an expert on college athletics, says St. John's only chance to return to the ranks of the elite is "if everybody else in the Big East stands still or moves back two steps. If Syracuse never built the Carrier Dome, if Georgetown hadn't gotten rich, if BC hadn't emerged as a college sports power (the Eagles will leave the Big East after this season), they might have a chance."
Some expert. Georgetown, rich?
Also, I never realized that prior to building dorms St. John's was paying their kids a $1600 monthly stipend for housing- even in NYC that is a pretty sweet deal, especially for kids who continue living at home or with friends/girlfriend/etc.
