The Colonials have an 11 point lead on the #9 team in the country at the half.

Looks like GW has uniform issues too. The Buff and Blue has become Georgia Tech.

Yeah, they are wearing the same exact unis that Tech wore 2 years ago. The only difference is that George Washington is written on them instead of Georgia Tech. I remember seeing this last year and being surprised.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu, what a name, has nice game. I've been watching him the last few years, and while his touch around the basket isn't always great, he makes up a fun GW team to watch. Although I have never had a dislike for GW, and generally have rooted for them, it's a little sad seeing them going up against Maryland in the BB&T final, when that should be us, argh!!! And they've one-upped us with the all-name squad too!
Seriously, I'm happy to see them playing well, and I hope that we can get involved in some type of local tournament on a yearly basis, and also wouldn't mind seeing an annual G'town-GW game, like many have mentioned before.
I also had a chance to watch Illinois against Arkansas with our former assistant coach Ronnie and recruit, Townes. Townes barely played, but I was impressed with the Arkansas squad, and while I think Illinois was fighting off a letdown and a very tough crowd, I don't expect them to play worse against us. However, I do think that JT III's plan will be to milk the clock, slow it down, and if we can hit our deep shots, I think we can keep the game close.
GO HOYAS! BEAT PSU!!!

GW is becoming a pretty credible program. Izzo is disappointed with his team's mental approach to the game. Hobbs credits Pops. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=243390045In last year's BB&T, after knocking off Maryland in the first round, the Zags thought it would be easier coasting the next day against the Colonials, who had "only" had to defeat W.Virginia to advance to the final. Wrong! GW gave them a lot more than they were expecting. From the way Feinstein is talking "nice" about JT, it's likely we'll see the Hoyas in the BB&T in the not too distant future.
