Took the words right out of my mouth, hoya. The DC Club is currently making final arrangements; the annoucement should come later today (around COB, maybe sooner). The Georgetown Club of DC will announce plans most likely today. OSU's alumni club has told us that they do not intend to do a formal party at Rhino's but my bet is OSU fans will still go there out of habit. I'll post here once the DC plans are finalized. does anyone else agree with my desire to have this gamewatch in georgetown proper? i don't want to have to take a cab to celebrate on and around campus after the game

OSU's alumni club has told us that they do not intend to do a formal party at Rhino's but my bet is OSU fans will still go there out of habit. I'll post here once the DC plans are finalized. The Georgetown Club of Metropolitan DC will have 3 locations for game watches: 1. McFadden's, 2401 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC 2. SoBe, 3100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, VA, adjacent to Mr. Days at Washington Blvd. and N. Highland St. 3. Tommy Joes, 4714 Montgomery Ln, Bethesda, MD Go to www.dchoyas.org for information soon hopefully. Plus an email will go out.

I like the McFadden idea. Good choice. Even if it is not in Georgetown proper, it's right next to it and it's a huge space for everyone. I would have to think the smaller bars/restaurants in Georgetown would tough to reserve for such a huge crowd, especially on a Saturday night.

Not that I am actually in South Texas for this weekend, but where is the gamewatch in places like San Antonio or, indeed, Laredo?

Massholya, if you're looking for a gamewatch, the Philly gamewatch is at McFadden's in Foggy Bottom.
Seriously ... this is the ONE time it's better to be in DC than in Philly.

The Hoop Club listing is now up. guhoyas.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/hoya-hoop-club-activities.html#3/31 I count 24 game watch events so far, and I'm sure that number will grow. Also, a Chicago plug for those who just read new posts - Gamekeepers (345 W Armitage at Lincoln and Sedgwick) as usual. $1 domestic drafts from 4pm to tip-off (the same beer is $7 pitchers for the rest of the game).

why does this have town hall listed as the DC gamewatch? mcfadden's or town hall? Both. Town Hall is the HHC game watch, McFadden's is Alumni Club and CAN.
