DooKIE Vitale, and Digger just gave the edge to OSU. Said their guards are better than ours. Well we have heard that before huh? And ROy WIlliams seems to like JT.jr whats the problem.

Yeah, I just saw that.  Man, I REALLY hope they are wrong again. And they will be because GTOWN is better than Ohio State, and the Hoyas will prove it on Saturday. |

I was sayin against unc that they were simply just better than us, and i was alot more worried goin into that game then i am about this game. go hoyas! as i said in another thread, other then oden (who doesnt score a lot, just rebounds and makes his prescence felt) who are there other guys? they got some other "good players" i guess. I see us with the advantage. |

Mike Conley Jr. is a lefty Mo Cheeks that plays like he's a seasoned veteran. We will win as a TEAM and persevere like we have all season. Green should have a matchup in our favor and Vern Macklin should be used early to guard Oden ala Ewing not guarding Hakeem in 1984 (he hadn't dropped the H yet). We showed Thad the door in a sea of RED last year and there's no reason we can't do it again. Let's go GU!!!

Last year after the tournament I advised us all to take names (in a non-violent, non-threatening way).
I like that the ESPN crew continues to pick our new opponent instead of Georgetown. It means we are still alive.
The graves of the 2007 basketball season are full of people waiting for Georgetown to die.

Mike Conley Jr is a really good player, as are Ron Lewis and Daequon (sp?) Cook. Make no mistake, OSU is a tough, tough team that will give us all we can handle. After tonight though, I believe we can do anything  |

This is slightly misleading. Digger and Vitale were completely positive / glowing about GU, tonight's game, the program, the future etc. While Vitale said he was picking OSU, he said repeatedly he thinks they have the edge by the "slightest, slightest, slightest" of margins. What is wrong with that? Friday night's ESPN coverage of the Vandy game was embarassing, but tonight has been very fair and, as you would expect, very positive. |
