All I can say about this after the fact--must have missed this thread is that a school who is used as an adjective for how to lose/blow games "They COUG'D it" was talking about Hoyas as if they were a bad team? You've got to be kidding me.

I think them actually playing defense stuns enough Pac-10 teams into losing. I watch a ton of Pac-10 basketball and by my estimate roughly 6 out of 10 shots on any given night is an uncontested layup.

Not breakaways, but driving into the lane...big man stands still...nobody collapses = two points.

That being said, of all the teams in the Pac-10, Wash St is the only one who lives and dies by its defense. It lives to frustrate it's opponents with something akin to a 4-1 zone. It is stiffling in the Pac-10.

Anyways, more importantly, Washington State is now eliminated from the tournament. I thought they had a solid team this year and the coaching staff got the most they could out of that group of players.

There were a number of Wazzu fans out here in Vegas for the first two rounds and they were clearly hoping BC would beat us in the 2nd round. They understood how good Georgetown was. Just because one guy on one message board has no idea what he's talking about in regards to a team on the other side of the country from him, is no reason to get worked up. The dude was just ignorant.

I hope he took Belmont +16.5.
