Anyone have any idea where the Hoyas stay while they're in NYC?

The Top Secret Lodge in Raritan NJ. Or elsewhere.

Well, I don't know that the team stays there, but the headquarters appears to be the Affinia again, as that's where the HHC reception is on Wednesday. (There was also a pre-game event there last year.)

I vaguely recall running into some players in Times Square last year, so I think it's perhaps the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square.
Casually.

I'm casually searching for confirmation.
Excitably.

If I remember correctly, Pops Thompson kept the team in Biloxi (or Gulfport) for the 1982 Final Four that was in New Orleans. The location is usually a closely guarded secret to keep casual autograph hounds at bay.

Yeah, my wife used to have to help keep the groupies at bay when teams visited MD or other schools in the area and stayed at the Greenbelt Marriott when she worked sales there - especially the Dukies. Same thing on a lesser scale when the Skins stayed there Sat. nights.

I have, by chance, stayed at the same hotel with the team a couple of times lately. For the Duke game this year, it was the Marriott just outside campus. For the Regionals last year in Minneapolis, it was the Graves 601 (one of the nicest hotels in the city). I know a couple of teams are staying on Madison Avenue at The Carlton Hotel. Not sure about the Hoyas.

I think we're asking the wrong question here. The correct questions should be:
1) What hotels are Depaul, Nova, Cuse, ND, Pitt, and Lousville staying in? 2) What is the policy on ordering wake up calls for those rooms by third parties? 3) Where are the fire alarms located in those hotels? 4) What are the direct lines of the player's rooms in those hotels?

If you're looking for a party, and possibly a couple misdemeanor charges, the GU Band used to stay at Hotel Penn (right across from MSG) on about the 7th floor.

COnsidering some of the roomservice which has been sent to players by opposing fans during BET nights prior to games (for example, cart-loads of beer on ice), there's no way i'd encourage discussing this in a public forum. Besides, All you'd have to do is follow the Conspicuous Blue Hoyas Team bus through Midtown.
