So if I'm not in DC or a part of the country getting the GU/UCon feed on CBS, there's no way for me to watch the game on my DirecTv or at a sports bar here in SLC?

Just saw that James Brown is gonna handle the play-by-play for CBS (with Gminski as the color guy). With his stint at Fox, it has been a long, long time since I heard JB call a basketball game. I thought I remember him being something of a Georgetown homer, and as a Dematha guy I'll bet he's even more of a fan now.

Ridiculous that we can't even get our game in BE territory -- Louisville, Chicago, Milwaukee, etc are all Texas-Kansas.

If I'm in the Texas/Kansas Constant Feed portion of the map, does that affect my ability to see the Georgetown game on the DirecTV channels?

This map looks like old Big East coverage.

Gold, any word if Gamekeepers will be able to show the game? Still waiting to hear back. If the previous posters & previous experience are any indication, though, DirecTV customer service just doesn't know, which will make it hard for Gamekeepers to obtain a definitive answer.

I guess I'd say I'd hope that they switch feeds in some of these territories at some point, but I'd rather beat UConn by 50 and make it totally uninteresting to a neutral viewer.
Maybe this frees me up to go down to the Bradley Center and watch Lord Crean produce College Gameday, dress Dick Vitale, paint the students' faces, conduct the band, operate the scoreboard, chastise some concession employees, fire off Blackberry emails to Seth Davis, personally choose the kid who gets to shoot the half court shot for tuition, cook the pregame meal, raise a couple of banners to commemorate completing the season and winning one out of 4 games, and give away to the first 10,000 fans photo copies of the toll booth receipt DWade got on his way to making his first campus visit in 2000.
(Sorry guru, I couldn't resist.)

This map looks like old Big East coverage. Seriously. If that is how CBS is going to cover it, just give the game back to ESPN Fullcourt, then at least the local networks can pick it up in Big East markets and everyone else can see it on the package. Reminds me of the ridiculousness that is Fox Saturday baseball.

It is unfortunate for those of us in the vast yellow areas that (a) Durant vs. Wright is such a compelling matchup and (b) UConn games this year are almost unwatchable from an aesthetic perspective.

I assume this is because my parents placed a threatening call to DirecTV. You don't wanna mess with FLHoyaMom and her TV games.

I got the email from the Hoop Club listing all the game watches around the country. Are we sure The Bus Stop in San Fran (for example) is going to be able to get the game? If so, how do I get the game on my DirecTv or at a local sports bar?

Chicago and SF have recurring game watch items on the HHC calendar. From a Chicago perspective, we didn't talk with HHC the U-Conn. game in particular. We are still in the dark and those who go to Gamekeepers tomorrow may be surprised, or may be disappointed, depending on the whim of CBS and DirecTV.

AARRRGH!
I live near Raleigh, NC and last week I missed the first half of the Pitt game b/c locally they were showing NCSU/ FSU. If they don't play the Hoyas this week...
Usually I would go to a bar, but we are getting ready to sell our house and we have a lot of work to do on it. I will be mad as heck if I miss a moment of our beatdown of the UConvicts.

In SF - SFO called the Bus Stop yesterday and they claimed it wouldn't be a problem. If we get more details today, we'll let you know.

In socal Sharkeez said they will have the game and they have never let us down before. if you are in so-cal and didnt get the evite please PM me and i will add you, that way you will also get a notice about BET and tournament events. On that note, if we end up with the #1 seed we will be playing at 9am on Thursday and we plan to go to Hennessey's in Hermosa Beach.

That map doesn't make much sense, as most of Southwest Florida is split between Gator fans and Big Ten transplants. That being said, as a resident of Ft. Myers I'm glad it's a weird map!
GO HOYAS!!
