Thanks for letting us into the Dance....see ya in NYC next week.
Better work on those 3's in the real tourney in two weeks.
Good Luck in the NCAAs.
I think we can get this rivalry cranked up again to rival UNC/Duke.

Advice from a Syracuse fan on how to handle the first weekend of the NCAA tournament? Isn't that like Rex Grossman consulting on how to play quarterback in the Super Bowl?

I think we can get this rivalry cranked up again to rival UNC/Duke. fair enough...I can rest easy knowing that all our losses are the opponent's signature victories with the exception of Oregon who beat UCLA. That being said, you better pray that you don't see us in the tournament cause the Hoyas will absolutely destroy Cuse.

Based on? Your achillee's heel is your 3--unless you hit them for about 50% you won't blow us out. Good Luck in the NCAAs--may you crush a few ACC teams. You guys managed to turn what would've been a big win for you into a classless, obnoxious mob. Good luck, buddy, you're gonna need it.

You guys shot the lights out and the Hoyas had a bad game. It happens. Don't start pretending that Boeheim is a good coach, now. He wasn't in the 80s and he isn't now. The team will occasionally do well in spite of him.
Look forward to seeing you in the BET, when the Hoyas will actually show up and play.

Coming into this game you were shooting a WHOPPING 0.1% better than us from 3. If we could only shoot 38% instead of a mere 37.9% life would be so much better!

I have no problem with what he said--they kicked our rear ends tonight--outplayed us, outcoached us, and have done something we haven't in over 20 years--he can puff his chest out--you don't threaten opposing fans/teams who have kicked your butts and you certainly don't do it until you return the favor. I agree with what he said overall (return to glory days of rivalry) but the comments on 3pt shooting show he doesn't know much about the team--GU had it's worst shooting night of year--and if you are going to have that happen it's better to be prior to March--when stakes are much higher.
If Hoyas shoot like they did tonight--we couldn't beat Georgetown Prep, let alone Syracuse or a Big East/NCAA opponent. Do I think that will happen again this year? No, but until we prove something more then threatening people of dominance--I'm going to let him crow--he's earned it.
BTW--this is why I and many others HATE Syracuse and for you guys who "wanted the loss" or feared having a winning streak heading into the BET and NCAA's--remember every word of this post--it's why this means so much to us geezers on the board.

Au contraire Your problem was the three--you couldn't make them against our defense...advantage Syracuse. Based on? Au contraire Your problem was the three--you couldn't make them against our defense...advantage Syracuse. Can't really say that we couldn't make the three against your defense...I don't thik we could have made threes tonight against any defense...Its not like your D was shutting us down and not allowing us to shoot, we still took 25 3s to your 21

Texan, I hope you come back after we beat you in the BET or if we win it.
BTW, last night we didn't have the legs to shoot the threes. We've been making them all season long.
That said, may you beat as many ACC teams as well.

I hate the Orangemen as much as the next guy, but texanmark's posts showed a level of class, grace and literacy that I am not used to seeing from a Syracuse fan, let alone a texan. Such behavior should be applauded, not derided. I will be interested if he and his gigantic orange belt buckle reappear in a few weeks after we decimate the field in the BET.
Last night's loss, while pathetic, will make the next 10 victories that much sweeter.
Let's move on and crush the Huskies!!!
