colorado, if you consider your next opponent irrelevant, congrats. by the way, nova is sitting with the #13 RPI and have beat you guys once already this year. not exactly my definition of irrelevant. Both your RPI number and your previous win are statistical flukes.

If there is one thing I regret about the 2006 tournament, it is that Owens' shot didn't fall. Consider that a backhanded compliment if you are insecure, but I know I am not alone in that belief. That shot falls, Nova is in the finals against UCLA. That is not an insult towards your team. Nova beat you guys pretty bad that year, and they worked G-Town the previous year in DC. G-Town won the first match of the 2005 season, in a game where Nova led by as many as 13 and didn't trail until about 4 minutes left in the game (and I think Nova learned their lesson from that second half, similar to if you guys roll us this Saturday you will have demonstrated that your team learned their lesson from last month's game). You don't regret losing to Florida with a final four brith on the line? Anyways, back on topic. The Hoyas are now a tourney lock.

Both your RPI number and your previous win are statistical flukes. I think I've heard the same thing said about April 1, 1985. But that ring is just as shiny as the 1984 ring.

In the vast sea that is the Big East, Villanova is nothing more than a remora, attaching itself to the underbelly of much larger, more successful and relevant sea creatures. It gains respect not from its own actions, but from the meager scraps it manages to gobble up due solely to its proximity to the powerful jaws of truly elite programs. Now don't you have some unsanctioned phone cards to hand out to your beloved Editedcats...everyone deserves a last call.
