www.allsports.com/cgi-bin/showstory.cgi?story_id=51895Is there any point to this preview? There's nothing here at all -- it's like it was lifted from USA Today. My favorite is the prediction that Jeff Green gets the least PT of the freshmen. Seriously, how hard is it to find a site like this or do some research? There are 9,000 sports sites, and every single conference preview for every conference is the same drivel.

I don't know, this part was my personal favorite...
"PROBABLE STARTING LINEUP: Point guard Ray Reed, shooting guard Ashanti Cook, center Amadou Kilkenny-Diaw, power forward Brandon Bowman, small forward Darryl Owens. "

If you put any stock in The Hoya's preview, replace Reed in the lineup with "Josh" Green, and that looks like what we'll have at the beginning of the season. I got the impression from them that Roy would be worked into the starting lineup as the season progressed.

From rumors floating around, its looking more and more like we'll go small with Wallace, Cook, Owens, Bowman and Green.
I expect we'll see a lot of that. It'd be really interesting against Temple, which is pretty big and strong as I understand.

That's interesting. So with that line-up we will have at least two, and perhaps as many as four, players playing out of position. Not good.

That's interesting. So with that line-up we will have at least two, and perhaps as many as four, players playing out of position. Not good. The flipside of it is that you get your three best three point shooters on the floor. Versus the zone, sometimes you need to shoot over it to loosen it up. I can see arguments both ways. Even if we don't see this a lot during the Temple game, I'd expect it at some time this year if Wallace's shot proves to be quality.
