BE: none
OOC: ODU def. Hofstra, 96-82 Michigan St. def. Michigan, 59-44
With another important win, ODU is now 20-7 (13-3 CAA) with 3 regular season games left (I'm assuming Toledo is their Bracket Buster game). A 25 win season isn't out of the question for them. Time to stop considering it a bad loss for good. They are legit.

haha, I don't think any loss that leads me to be as frustrated as the ODU loss can ever be considered a good loss, just a not as bad loss.
That being said, they're not bad.

Here's an interesting comparison:
Old Dominion RPI: 51 SOS: 100 Top 50: 2-3 51-100: 3-2 Record: 20-7 Road Record: 6-5 Signature Win: At Georgetown
WVU RPI: 42 SOS: 90 Top 50: 2-4 51-100: 2-1 Record: 18-6 Road Record: 3-4 Signature Win: Home vs. UCLA
Not a mid-major fan but they're really close to WVU (I could pick other Big East teams) and the Mountaineers have been discussed as a lock. Hard to argue against ODU if WVU gets in considering the top 4 in the CAA went 4-1 versus the Big East, beating 'Nova, 'Cuse, St. Johns, and Georgetown, all on the road.

Not on the list, but Texas Tech beat Texas A&M, solidifying the Red Raiders place at the top of the "Oddsmakers' Nightmare" list. Tech (6-6 Big 12, 17-10 overall) has quality wins over Arkansas, Kansas, and TAMU twice, but bad losses to Baylor, Mizzou, and Nebraska.
And the Va. Tech-UNC score just went final: 81-80 Hokies. The Blacksburg crew has to be on the same list as TTU.
Now, Let's Go Blue.

Georgia Tech also beat FSU, further muddying the ACC waters.

The Rockets were undefeated in the MAC when Bracket Busters gave out bids, they're now 9-2 in conference and 13-10 overall. ODU's remaining games are against teams it should beat (though the Monarchs lost to JMU, so no chicken counting), but VCU will have to stumble for Old Dominion to take the regular season title. Still, have to like their chances if they win out and do well in the CAA tourney.

Is this like something they plan into their schedule and then they get an opponent later?
