We've lost five games so far this year... I can live with that. I would much rather watch us progress over the course of the season from a pretty average looking team at the beginning of the year- which will by definition lose some games- to a nasty looking team come February (and hopefully March). I'm in this camp too... they say a loss is never a good thing, but I truly think certain losses can build team character and ultimately just make a team better.. they can provide motivation and improve a team's ability to play through adversity.. i think the tough beginning of the season for the Hoyas has made them a better team and it's yet another testament to JT III's coaching, as well as the maturity of Green, Wallace, and Big Roy.

Nova's wins at Oklahoma and over Texas won't hurt them. Those are probably both overrated teams, but they're both in the top half of the Big 12 standings. Let's just not give them 2 wins over the Hoyas to bolster their credentials.

I don't know if I would call Texas overrated. They are very young, and like most young teams, prone to inconsistent play. They're way better than UConn, and are capable of beating just about anybody if on their game. That was a good win for Nova.

I saw that Augustin kid - the freshman point guard - play against OK State. Man, is he fun to watch. He reminds me a little of Marbury when he was at Georgia Tech.

Agree with Coach. I saw Augustin play in high school. He is the real deal. Do not sleep on Texas. Everybody that gets significant minutes is either a frosh or soph. They are entertaining to watch, and likely will be a tough out in the tourney.
