My over under is #15. 18-5, just beat Louisville on the road and then the #11 team by 18 points. Theres a chance we could make a big jump this week.
Isnt this fun? Im seriously.

Under, coming it at #17. Majerus will still refuse to admit we have a quality win.
(I guess I mean "over" although we will appear under the #15 ranked team ;D)

I'm going to have to say around 18. AP will suddenly believe that Marquette was overrated going into the game and thus diminish our accomplishment.

16.
People will rationalize keeping MU ahead of us because the game was played at our place.
But I do think the secret is out. There had better not be any voter who doesn't include us on their ballot this week.

We had a great week, but voters are usually slow to acknowledge good weeks (and quick to punish teams for bad weeks).

14...no way, there's been an entire week of Marquette-is-the-sleeper-Final-Four-team articles...no way people can back away from that now...

Lots of press coming off this win and will be some good TV coverage (been on ESPN.com front page side column all afternoon).
But it's stupid to guess randomly without taking a look at how the teams above us did. Let's start with Marquette since we could feasibly jump them.
11. Marquette - lost to us (by 18, but on road) 12. Nevada - 1-0 13. Oregon - lost to Arizona today (but beat us earlier in year) 14. Wash St. - 2-0 15. Air Force - lost to San Deiego St (by 21) - should jump them 16. Duke - lost to UNC (and play MD tomorrow) - but they beat us earlier this year too 17. Okla St. - lost to Oklahoma (and in OT now vs. Tex Tech) - jump them 18. Alabama - 1-0 (Game tonight vs. Miss St.) 19. USC - lost to UCLA 20. Kentucky - 1-0 (but play Florida tonight) 21. Southern Illinois - 1-0 (Game tonigth vs. Creighton) 22. Georgetown - 2-0 - (2 good wins) 23. Vandy - Lost to Tennessee 24. Arizona - 2-0 including a win over Oregon (who is ranked lower than Marquette though) 25. Stanford - lost this week
We definitely clear USC and Oklahoma State, and Kentucky if they lose tonight. That's up to 19.
That leaves Duke, Oregon, Air Force, and Marquette. I don't have much faith in the pollsters, so I'll say we clear one, maybe 2 of those 4. That would put us 17th. If we cleared all 4, that could be 15, possibly higher if Southern Illinois or Alabama get upset tonight.
It all gets back to what this poll is asking: - Who has had the best "season"? (i.e. sure, take the Oregon and Duke wins over us in NOVEMBER into account) - Who is playing the best right now? (i.e. we just ripped Marquette, so how are they more highly ranked than us? Duke and Oregon are on free falls. And Air Force?)

the better over/under is on where John Feinstein will have us.
Feinstein: 21 Todd Rosiak (Marquette beat writer): 15 Seth Davis: 18 Dick Vitale: 12

But it's stupid to guess randomly without taking a look at how the teams above us did. Apparently you don't know how these polls are constructed. Randomly guessing is exactly how most voters, especially coaches, fill in their ballots each week.

I thought it was "Allow the 20-year old intern in the SID's office to check out how one of the big websites ranked the teams then switch a few in there to make it look good." But it could be "Let the 20-year old intern in the SID's office randomly guess." Wait, that's the Coaches Poll.

Lots of press coming off this win and will be some good TV coverage (been on ESPN.com front page side column all afternoon). Just watched the post-game of the Kansas game on ABC. They had highlights of WVU, Texas, OSU (no "the," which remains NOT a phrase), UNC...none of which featured two currently ranked teams. NO GEORGETOWN HIGHLIGHTS! It seems that at least some of the press has yet to wake up to the not-so-sleeping giant. On another completely unrelated note...how awful is the rest of the Texas team for them to be as bad as they are with Durant? Just wondering.

well alabama lost so we jump them too. I think we will jump oregon the polsters have no problem putting a team that lost to another team head to head over them. see ND.

The better over/under would be whether the Hoyas are over/under Feinstein's IQ which, being generous, is about 18.

13 in AP. And yes, we'll pass Marquette. How do we not? We've not only been beating our competition, we've been rolling over them the last seven games.
