He's not there yet, but he keeps getting closer. After today's game, he's at: 53% from the field + 44% from three + 79% from the line = 176 www.midmajority.com/player.php?p=50294Can't say enough about how well he is playing right now.

I was as hard as anyone on Jeff at the beginning of the year. This is the Jeff Green we've been waiting for all along. If him and Roy keep this up, the sky is the limit for this year's team.

Just goes to show how much Jeff's shooting has improved this year. It wasn't bad last year, but he's really become one of the best shooters on the team, which is makes him even more of a matchup problem for opponents.
His free throw shooting has also gotten a lot better. Last year it used to be painful to watch him on the line.

I'm very, very glad that I don't have to match up against two "175"ish shooters (one of whom is 6'9"), the 6'8" Cold Blooded Assassin, AND the 7'2" experience. It is a lot of fun to watch the ball leave Jeff's hands and pretty much know that its going in the basket.

If Roy can just go 1/1 from beyond the arc , he will be be a 236 shooter.

Can someone remind me why we're giving Rick "I don't see any signature wins" Majarus love today? The 180 shooter thing is ridiculous. I feel we should get some Priests of the Order of Ken Pomeroy to come and exorcise the demon. Given Majarus' manifest inability to (1) pass a buffet line, (2) tie a necktie, and (3) pronounce the simple English word "offense," are we now going to allow him to make up useless stat achievements?

Other than that ridiculous "no signature wins" thing, Majerus has been pretty positive on the Hoyas. I would prefer to see Majerus doing the color for our games over some of those other hatas* out there.
*I just love this term. Thanks 80s!
