So where exactly will you be hanging out before the game? I definitely want to get one of these shirts and wear it to all of the games, and it sounds like you'll be hard to miss, but I just want to see if you're going to be selling these shirts inside or outside of MCI. I'm not sure if you're allowed to sell shirts while actually inside the arena, so if you are going to be doing it outside, I want to make sure I find you before I go in.

007,
Not to put up a shameless plug, but if you all are getting really dressed up and want to pay attention to all the details, I have a company called Stroke's Striped Socks (www.strokesocks.com). If you and your crew are interested, I could hook you up with "The Blues" which would be the best fit and could do it at our wholesale price.
I would need to get at least 25 pairs to justify it but let me know. I am going home for Thanksgiving and could bring them back to save shipping & handling costs.

I'll be there at MCI in the Young Alum section, first row, 2007. I'll see you about the shirts there.

Thanks man, but I really love the socks I have now and I dont know about demand for the rest of the students. If I were to get more students wearing the high socks I'd like them to truly be our school colors. Right now I have perfect Navy and Blue socks. They are solid Navy and Gray so I wear a Navy sock on one foot/leg and a Gray sock on the other foot/leg.

I dont know if I can sell them either, but Im hoping I can somehow make exchanges inside the arena for donations. If not I'll have to gather a crowd of you guys and go outside to hook you all up with the shirts. Try to be there early because if you wait till around gametime I'm gonna be back in my place in the front of the student section getting hyped for game time.

I'm still amazed out how great these shirts turned out. The customink versions look like crap compared to these, that's how incredible the final version is. Im gonna have to drop another $30 and ship a final copy out to each of the people that first donated and got the customink copy. They really deserve it for helping me get this started, the shirts are beautiful. I wont be able to get those out immediately because Im incredibly busy with preparations for the start of the season and some work that I keep putting off, but you guys will definitely get the shirt sometime soon.

Gonna wear my shirt around campus today and see if i get any interesting comments/questions. GO HOYAS! I'm wearing mine today as well. I also want to get a tradition going where we all wear the shirt on gamedays. So on Monday I want to see all of us die-hards wearing the shirt and trying to spread it. I think it would be huge for spirit if on gamedays you saw a couple hundred people wearing the shirt eventually. Yes, I do have lofty goals, haha. But if we can eventually get a lot of people to wear the shirt all day on gamedays it would really help spirit and also help spread the word that there is a game that day. I'm so pumped for the start of the season!!!!!!!!!

I got an e-mail from the Hoop Club today about a pre-game happy hour for HHC members. YOu should talk to the HHC and see if you can sell some shirts at that event . . . here's the text of the e-mail:
Come out to the MCI Center on Monday, November 22 to watch John Thompson III make his debut as the Hoyas' head coach. The Hoyas and Temple University tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
Before the game, join the Hoya Hoop Club for their season-opening Happy Hour in the Coaches Club, located on the floor level of the MCI Center.
The Happy Hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. and each Hoop Club member will receive a complimentary drink ticket.
To enter the Coaches Club, use the press entrance to the MCI Center located on 6th Street between F & H Streets.
Please email hoyasunlimited@georgetown.edu with any questions.

Yeah, I got the email. I'm probably the only student in the Hoop Club ;D.
That sounds like a good idea. I'm sure that would be a place where people would want shirts. I'm just not sure exactly how crazy things are gonna be, I might have to be in about 3 places at the same time.
4 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say after 3 months of grad school here, the reactions from kids to my Georgetown stuff and anything vaguely basketball related have been truly priceless in their cluelessness.

I plan on getting to MCI Center very early as well, and as long as I'm there and have a front row seat reserved, I'd be more than happy to help out the cause.

Just picked up my season tickets today (#155)! Thanks again for your efforts 007, shirt is awesome. I'd be more than happy to help distribute in any way I can Monday (what time were you guys planning on heading over there? Class "unofficially" ends at 3:00 for me ;D )
Also, I'm definitely attending the Citadel game over break; I don't know if anyone will be in the area but I'd be happy to distribute some shirts for you that game as well.

It is looking like I'll be around for the Citadel game. I think that i might take the extra time at the beginning of the game to enjoy a cold milk at Regional Food and Drink, so I may not be of much help with respect to t-shirt distribution.

I'll be in town for the Citadel game as well. That game should be pretty laid back because there won't be many students in attendance and I wont have to deal with many student section issues until the game actually starts. CAN'T WAIT FOR MONDAY!!!#nosmileys

007, maybe we'll just forego the Regional Food and Drink and pregame with some cold milk in my apartment. Just let me know and I'll go to Safeway to pick up a couple gallons. LOL.

Sounds good, I think I'll pass on the cold milk though. I just need some water to keep myself hydrated for the wildness during the game ;D.

I know that it means beer now. I actually haven't been much of a drinker typically so if thats a known reference to beer I was just ignorant of it.
I would go for some cold milk, but thats not my style for basketball games. I am so insane and hyped up on my adrenaline for b-ball games that I really dont need anything else to loosen me up or make me wild. I go sober and get absolutely insane naturally, thats my style for basketball games.
I CAN NOT WAIT ANYMORE!!!!! 3 DAYS!!!!!!!

To eliminate confusion moving forward, I'll just use "wheat soda," which is a bit more direct reference to beer.
