Not even 8th-year starter Lamont Hamilton? No way -- he is still there??? Didn't he come in with Anthony Glover - another 7 year player? I gues they're trying to go for the Zeffy Penn lifetime player award.

Part of the issue is that SJU over the last decade has had a prototype 4, pretty much indistinguishable, somewhat talented, but not enough to be noticed... Kyle Cuffe, Glover, Hamilton... much like Providence has a prototype 5'10 or shorter, quick defensive point guard... Eric Murdock (though he was a little taller), John Linehan, Corey Wright...
Although my favorite Johnnie of the last several years was 7'3 Curtis "Waterskis" Johnson.

What a way to end the 1st half, 8-0 run.
28-27, SJU at the half.
Go Hoyas!

Patrick Ewing Jr. should be all over Anthony Mason Jr. in this game.

Maybe you guys will believe me now. I really might be your "lucky charm." I was later than expected getting home. But I swear that as I was walking in the door, you started the late run. I am pretty sure it was 28-20 when I put the game on and sat in front of the big screen.

Up to 51-35 at current commercial break.
Let's see ... that would be 31-7 since I started watching.

I don't think anyone in my apartment building heard me, but please allow me to take back everything I yelled at the TV in the first half. A 38-7 run?! Wow.

That was a fun way to finish off a game, good job Hoyas.
Note of interest: Jeff was very keen to line up at the NBA line when he took his threes

Sounds like a 19-0 run to end and start the halves. Was this game played in Jamaica rather than MSG - that's what yahoo said.

No, was MSG. Great interview with PE Sr. Talked about what a "great" move it was for Jr. to come here, and how he has blossomed in all areas.
sad to see Louie leave with 45 seconds on the clock. It would be nice to see the Johnnies get back. Frascilla had it right in the post-game--all the players St. John's should have are at Pitt.

Somebody PLEASE be good enough to put a link to their board here.... Also, i HATE when this network seems to treat us like we're the JV game, and duke is the varsity....They have all the look of going out meekly in the 2nd round of the Dance this year, and still get brown nosed by "the family of sports networks". (rant over...72-48!!H!O!Y!A!S!A!X!A!!!!!!)
