Hoya Fans who were at the DePaul Game - I have a very important question: In your opinion who won the dance cam competition - the roboting kid or the somewhat-less-well roboting alumnus?
BTW, Dan, Admin, etc. - what happened to the poll feature on the board?

Amadou's brother won the war, I thought, despite a big surge in the middle of the contest for the "distinguished" 2002 alum; said alum pretty much stopped dancing the last three times the camera switched on and off of him.

Clearly the roboting kid -- though our good buddy in 121 did a great job of keeping up.
I also think that praise should go to the camera guy/jumbotron god -- it came off as a very creative and organic competition and the crowd really liked it.
(I would like to point out that it was Coast2Coast, Drums, and I that kicked it off with our horrible dancing with "AlaskaHoya"!)

It's not about how you start, it's about how you finish. Despite some nice moves (snorkelling was in the repertoire), Captain Casual Friday had no grand finale. With a better finish, this would have been a dance-off for the ages.
Amadou's brother was the Inaugural Hoya Dance Cam Dance Off Champion. Fact.

Said 2002 alum had also been out late the night before, so cheers to him for keeping it up as long as he did. I actually think he might have just gotten bored. Matter of fact, I haven't seen him around the Board for a while .... I won't reveal his handle, though, until he wants to reveal himself.
And what 'tables says is the truth -- the A-Team got things started. The Jumbotron Streak is now at what, like 12 games for the A-Team and about an equal # for Capt. Casual Friday? Also agree re: how fun that bit was. I'd love to see it make an appearance at every game.
Unfortunately I have to agree that Amadou's bro was the champion. It was close for a while there, with both competitors' respective sections standing behind their men, but in end Mr Kilkenny-Diaw the Younger pulled away.
