We have to get to the line more; it didn't matter in this game, but down the road ... And when we get to the line, we have to make them. Our FT% last night was worse than both the 2 and 3 pts FG%. Watching the highlights, it looked as if Jon was hitting his 3s from the NBA line. At least on a couple he was not anywhere near the college 3 pt line.

Not worried about us making them (if you don't count Macklin and Ewing aka #9 and #10, we're shooting just fine). But there is no reason for us to be shooting fewer FTs than the other team. Even with Summers, the human fouling machine, starting we should be getting hacked going up more than we do. It's another case for running a bit more instead of playing 55 possession games.

Its not just the lack of possessions that hurt when it comes to limited FT opportunities. The mai culprit is the reliance (maybe too much so) on settling for long jumpshots rather than repeatedly trying to pound the ball inside. The team, especially when Egerson is not in the game, does not drive to the hoop to draw the foul either.
