and by Sunday we will disappear from the rankings for quite awhile if we play like this again. Is it too early to consider whether the expectations are bloated this year?

young. will be better later. However, Jeff and Roy have to dominate every night. They need to be called to task on their performances tonight.

I do think we need to readust our expectations at this point. We are not a top 25 team. We can certainly still be (and should be!) a solid NCAA contender and a possible deep NCAA tourney player. But we're not ranking material.

The only downside (as I see it) of not being ranked is not being able to get the live gametracker as often.

eh if we beat duke we won't drop out of the rankings. I'll save judgement about our rnakings till after that. although we played terrible today.

But in a game where you lose by 7 and they combine for 6, had they brought ANYTHING to the table tonight, we would have at least had a shot to win the game. Just unbelievably passive, and at BOTH ends of the floor. Very disheartening.
