Just another indication that we are all over up the national radar. Jan. 13 at Pitt, ESPN Gameday with the whole crew of talking heads. Digger will be apoplectic.

Any chance of Gameday coming to DC for a home game?

Any chance of Gameday coming to DC for a home game? Normally, I'd have said no. Gameday is supposed to be reserved for the wildest crowds, places like Louisville, who sell out 20,000 seat arenas every game. But this year there's a Gameday at Boston College. I'm sure they'll sell it out because it's Gameday and it's versus UNC, but I'll bet anyone half the arena is gone if they don't stay anywhere near UNC.

Hopefully, they've changed the intro music.
Unlike Snickers, Jay Bilas does not[/i][/u], in fact, satisfy.

Guess my personal ban on watching College Gameday (basketball version) will be lifted on Jan. 13, 2007.
Kind of sucks for CBB fans that the show doesn't begin airing until January 6. It'd be nice if they aired it on ESPNU or something from Nov-Jan.

can someone explain to me how ESPNU works? I have DirectTV up here in Manhattan...is this a channel that I will have automatically with my plan? Is it a free channel or do you need to order it?

I'm pretty sure you need the Directv Sports Pack package to get ESPNU. It's not part of the basic package, costs $12 a month. Worth it? You make the call. Some of the other channels in the package are kind of cool, but for my money, other than Hoyas games, ESPNU is crap. Here's the link: www.directv.com/DTVAPP/packProg/channelChart2.jsp?assetId=1100069
