why do the women's lacrosse team wear gray uni's and not the men's basketball team? i certainly hope jtiii brings back the old school hoya look.

LAX look is a classic.
This past year's bb uni experimentation in color was WAAAAAY TOO Tobacco Road'ish for my taste.

i remember when we had white with navy trim. my suggestion is back to true hoya blue and grey. grey at home and blue on the road. also possibly the alternative home white with blue and grey trim as a third. i know this is not a new idea but i sure would like to see it. i agree that the carolina blue was just not our school colors and certainly not black even though that brings back memories of the big, bad hoyas. going back to the days of being hated but respected by opponents just would be great.

JTII pretty much ruined our uni's. I also hate our light blue ones we wore last year. Leave all of the African stuff (I can only assume that is what it was years ago) off.

How can you say that? If it weren't for JT Jr. the uniform discussion would be pointless anyways. Yeah, according to some people, JT Jr. ruined our basketball program too! Come on.
And by the way, those trims with patterns, be them African or not, looked good when AI and co. wore them with the grey. Now the warm-ups - those were crazy, but more the result of some weird 80's fixation, or something, probably dictated just as much by Nike, as JT Jr.
With that said, the simple greys worn at the end of last seasn, broken out against Syracuse, those are nice and I hope we stick with them.

Let's not start referring to John Thompson as JTII or JT Jr. There's only one John Thompson. He's JT. No qualifier necessary.

When you're right, you're right. I even found it strange when I was typing, but was attempting to correct the reference to JT as JT II. Either way. There is only one JT. JT III is the III, JT is JT.

I think it's alright to also refer to him as Jr.
