In the "Notes" column from the weekend, it mentions that Jeff is 50 pts shy of qualifying and he will try to get into GU again, if not, then he'll attend Hargrave Military Academy for a season--same place as Darian Townes and will go to GU after a year there. (knock on wood)
Here's to wishing Jeff all the luck on his next attempt and hope to see you at GU this upcoming season.

When you say "he will try to get into GU again" are you saying that he is taking one last shot at the SAT in May?
GO HOYAS!!!

Something to note, he also has the chance to improve his GPA. I am not sure what it is, or where it would need to be, but kids with higher GPA's do not have to score as well on the SAT.

Thanks for the update RDF. Im suprised that there is not more reaction to this news. There seems to be a very good chance that we won't see Green in a hoyas uniform next year and in my mind he seemed to be the most promising recruit coming in. I think this bad loss for the program in regrads to next season. I realize the kid hasnt played a minute in college, but from the sounds of things he could have seen a decent amount of playing time that could only benefit him down the road. Also if he doesn't qualify does anyione think we will bring in another recruit for this year and what are options are left at this point so far into the recruiting period.

Well, I'm just speaking for myself, but I am going to wait until is IS news before reacting to it.
(I can't believe I live inside the Beltway and just said that).
Sorry, I'm not trying to pick on you, and like you, I appreciate the update from RDF, as I always do. I just think this was a potential problem already identified and would like to see how he does in May before getting too bunged up about it. You could look at this as ENCOURAGING news, you know? After all, it could be 350 points shy instead of a mere 50.
Who am I kidding? Anyone with scores that low would already be enrolled at Maryland!
Good luck this weekend, Jeff!
