At his welcoming press conference at Princeton, Joe Scott made reference to his assistent coaches which did not include Burke. In addition, he said that he would have to hire a new assistent coach. Sounds like Burke is coming with JTIII. This a a great get for the Hoyas if true. He is a terrific recruiter.

GU2007 on this board spotted Burke with JT3 in the dining hall at Georgetown sometime this past week. JT3 intimated that Burke would be making the move south from Princeton.
As I have mentioned to others, I like what Burke brings in that he is truly outside blood who fits the mold of what GU is looking for in its coaches and who has learned from one of the best in the business in Paul Hewitt and hopefully one of the best up and comers in JT3.
As for the other assistants, it is anyone's guess, as it appears as though RT is not going to move back home, which is fine by me. Without even considering the history there, it would probably have been awkward for him to coach for his brother.
My hope is that JT3 retains JJ as a remnant of the JT2/Esherick family. He has done some good things for the program in his one year on staff and adds a lot in terms of player relations and recruiting.
The third assistant should be another new person, preferably one with excellent ties to the DC/MD/VA area. Maybe Driesell can be this guy, but I hope JT3 explores all options. I would like for this guy to be a recruiter and, maybe, a current HS coach, i.e. the coach at Cecil Kirk in Baltimore or some other local.

Now would be a good time for Dwayne Bryant to come aboard. The cupboard is about to be bare at prep. If he wants experience as a college assistant and eventually become a head coach, now is the time. Both JJ and Bryant are from NO, so we'd rejuvenate that pipeline. Bryant could provide ties to local recruiting as well. What about the Assault coach? We'd prob have DC on lock then. comments?
