...cross-up Ramon by the bench, make him fall and land on his back-side, and then nail the 'J'?
The part I loved the most was as soon as Ramon fell down, everybody on the bench stood-up...and when Ashanti nailed the 'J', the bench went crazy!!!!
OK...I've seen the game 5 or 6 times...I tend to pick up on those details after the 3rd viewing...

That was one of my favorite plays, too.
To set the stage, I had my laptop perched on top of my kitchen counter so I could watch the game as I prepared food for my superbowl party. My wife had just gotten home from work (she's actually become quite the hoya fan this year, I'm very proud of her) and was just starting to watch the game with me in the kitchen. Ashanti pulled that move and I was yelling "broken ankles". She got very worried and asked if Ashanti had gotten hurt on the play. She was much relieved when I explained that actually Ashanti had just broken Ramon's proverbial ankles on the play. It was a sweet move.

Despite his sometimes erratic ball-handling, Ashanti has pulled off some really nice moves this season...
The pull-back 'J' has become my favorite...followed closely by that offensive rebound against Duke...

aggy - CO_Hoya posted that clip on the Board somewhere here, so if you want to watch it throughout the workday, you can - it was SICK though.

Thanks, WillBras...
I went looking for any references to Cook's move so I wouldn't be double-posting it...I got lazy and just started my own thread...

Cook's two mid-range jumpers yesterday were great. Usually he's the only one who even tries those. And his strip/steal near the sideline late in the game was also super.

Like I said before, our seniors have stepped up big time. We will miss the 3 of them like crazy next year, I think. Not that they are not replaceable, but they have gone thru so much and are really buying into III's system now. And it's fun to watch these maligned kids get some success. We'll miss Bobo's athleticism and desire.
We'll miss Cook's shooting and mid-range game. We'll miss DJ for his defense and shooting. These 3 have gone thru so much bad in their time here, and they have remained loyal Hoyas. I couldn't be happier they "got" it at this point and are playing with consistency and smarts and fire now.
In my mind, they are the hoops class that reminded those who had forgotten.

It was great seeing that move again. To be honest, I think Ashanti lowered his left shoulder, when there was contact, Ramon jumped backward, trying to get a charge called against Ashanti.
