I was just really bored and I felt like posting a ridiculous poll like this, I thought it would be interesting. Please vote and if you feel like it post your reason for picking what ever team you do.
DOWN WITH cuse!!!!!! Destroy the orange!!!!

I agree for the most part, but I believe st. johns was a pretty big rival back in the day also so that would be acceptable(even though its hard to remember that great rivalry now). Generally though, we have to pool our hatred against cuse!!!!!
There are some other schools we dislike, but its hard to hate anyone more than those damn oranges.

Living in New England, UConn gets my vote, but when I was a student it was definitely the Cuse.

Definitely Syracuse, but I voted for Villanova, because frankly, Villanova needs a vote.

Definitely Syracuse, but I voted for Villanova, because frankly, Villanova needs a vote. True, Nova is probably the one Cuse alternative that is worthy of more than a few votes. Yeah, UConn has had a lot of success, and yes, I hate them, but the satisfaction of beating them (which I hope to feel again soon, because I can't remember what its like) is nowhere near the satisfaction of beating Syracuse. Frankly, I was temped to vote for BC, just to give those whiny ugly sisters a nice boot in the arse on their way out the door, but I decided they weren't worth the effort.

I really can't stand bc either after all this acc crap and the backstabbing they've done. However, thats a different kind of hatred in my opinion. I really don't like that place and I can't explain it exactly but it feels different than the feeling I get when I think about those *bleeping* orange *bleeps*!

I didn't even count BC because they are dead to me...however my point is, working in an office of 200+ in New England it pains me when we fall to UConn. College bball fans in NE are notoriously fairweather and the UConn sentiment is killing me. I can't take it. Day in and day out, I hear them talking trash about our storied program...adn making bold oaths of loyalty to UConn. Of course there are a couple guys here who went to Cuse...they are infuriating as well, but at least they are educated about college bball. The UConn fans just get me. The thought of them beating us again...ug, I think I just threw up in my mouth.

I haven't forgiven Villanova for '85...nor have I forgiven Providence for '87...
Hard to believe that both of those were almost 20 years ago...but they still sting a little...

'85 was my first experience as a Hoya. I was a senior in HS then and heading to the Hilltop in the fall. Then '87 and that Billy Donovan!!! ARRGH! Reggie and the Miracles was a fun team to watch. And yet, I still hate those Orange bleepers more.

Boz was right -- BC definitely needed a vote and I couldn't stand to see them w/ a goose egg any longer. I hope they're miserable in the ACC, which I'm sure they will be. And while 'Cuse fans are still 98 times more miserable, BC fans aren't really all that far back. So there you go.

I'm currently a grad student at BC, and judging by the reaction of all the "double Eagles" I have the "pleasure" of going to school with, nobody wants them in the ACC but the administration. Most hardcore BC fans I've met think its the dumbest move ever.

It truly pains me to hear that you are a grad student up there, I'll forgive you, but its painful to hear, haha.
Thats rather interesting that most of the hardcore fans think that the move to the acc is stupid. I guess they have some form of intelligence up at that institution.

Wow, uconn taking almost 15% of the vote right now, I didnt expect that. I don't like them either but I can't even compare them to syracuse. I guess its those people living in New England who are sick and tired of hearing about the huskies.

2 more votes for nova today, bringing them almost level with uconn in the hate factor.
cuse at only 72%, I think we should be doing better than that, haha

USUCK is the worst, I have had my heart broken by them too often, the worst being BET finals in 96, my senior year. Having gone to the BET for the last 12 years, seeing the USUCK fans there grows the hatred, they are beyond awful, as much as i hate cuse, i have met several fans that i could at least respect, i have never met a USUCK fan i could respect or even tolerate for more than a fleeting moment. The most recent injustice was at last years BET when some USUCK fans behind us got some GU faithful tossed from the Garden after hurling racially incensitive comments at the GU crowd following GU's loss. Megafan got tossed too for being an idiot, but that is another story.
