As an out of town fan, I like to buy tickets to a game or two and plan a trip to DC. Kind of a tradition to bring my boys down. Our first home game is less than a month away.
And you cannot buy a ticket. Nothing! Not a single ticket for sale through official channels. No link on GUHoyas.com, no email to fans and past purchasers, nothing on the Cap One Arena website. The Hoya game is the only game on ND’s website that doesn’t have a tickets link!
For years now I have been as patient as possible with this program through all sorts of struggles but his is getting a little beyond the pale. I want to be in the gym - I want to book a room, make travel plans and start the hype train! Nothing! Are we aiming for our feet or shooting them accidentally? I always thought it was the later but this is getting a little ridic. Come on GU, help a fan out!

In fairness, it seems no Big East tickets are on sale for other programs either, so maybe something is up

Season ticket renewals are currently out and I think the deadline for that is Oct 19 so I’d expect to see something around then (no inside info, just my educated guess).

In a sign of progress, my season tix have appeared in MyHoyasAccount but cannot be "managed" i.e., transferred yet.
The McDonough games are not in the season ticket package.

They moved around season tickets this year because of the change in location of the home and visitor benches. It's possible that they delayed selling tickets to the public until they finished all of those moves.

My season tickets have reappeared in my account! IIRC you were moving location, so maybe that was the switch being made?

My season tickets have reappeared in my account! IIRC you were moving location, so maybe that was the switch being made? The first time the tix showed up they were in the correct new section. Then the tix disappeared for at least two days, I rechecked, and they had reappeared. Computer glitch? Everything looks fine now but still can't transfer yet but that's understandable as it is still way early.

STILL NOTHING. Can confirm that other Big East schools are selling single game tickets. But not a single word from GU. So much for getting out ahead of plans and stoking the hype.

E-mail from the Ticket Office:
I'm reaching out to season ticket accounts that had perfect or near-perfect attendance during the 2023-24 season to offer 2 tickets to the first Hoyas game of the season which will take place here on campus at McDonough Arena. Tip will be at 7:00PM on Wed. Nov. 6. We encourage you to arrive early as the women's season opener is immediately prior.
We are looking forward to a great atmosphere as most of the arena will be filled with students. Please RSVP here to confirm if you can attend the game or not on November 6. Please RSVP by Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Thank you for your support of the Hoyas!
Andrew

But the negligence on single game ticket sales continues.

The program never seems prepared for whatever reason.
