After looking at the schedule ….it feels like a realistic record might look like: Non-conference 9-1 Conference play 8-12 17-13 going into the BE Tourney

Who's the one defeat in OOC, and who are the 8 wins in BE play? Also, the 11th OOC game comes 3 games into conference play against Coppin State. I assume that would make the OOC record 10-1?

I think there are 11 OOC games.
OOC: 8-3 (losses to WVU, Cuse and one of the home games)
Conference: 8-12
16-15 overall. This feels like a Cooley team that gets better with time.

My prediction is less about wins and losses and more about competitiveness. In most games over the last three years we have been out of it with 10 minutes to go in the second half and often earlier. I think that changes dramatically this year. I expect a much more competitive team that will be in almost all games until the end. i really don't have a feel for wins and losses until I see the rest of the conference. However, we have a much higher ability to make in game adjustments and to react to someone having an off night. I am sure it will translate to more wins and I know that's the objective. For me things will really improve when we are consistently competitive. The wins will follow
