Talked to a recent graduate #35, the HoyaSaxa FB site and this Message Board came up...he had never seen or heard of either.
He was like "What - I had no idea", I even showed him how he could go back to the stories and messages from the time he played, and he was slightly blown-away.
How do we get the word out to the Gtown FB Community: including, Current Players and Parents about these sites...it's the real deal in terms of Gtown FB, so why not market this more directly to them
Thoughts DFW?

First, thanks for the kind words. As a whole, I think recent students aren't as connected to Georgetown as we may think. They tend to stay on apps and not search for sites like this. As to marketing, I'm willing to work with the Gridiron Club on this, but even way back when when I was on the Gridiron board there was a sense that HoyaSaxa.com and the official site were on different orbits and never the twain shall meet--which is OK, but it's up to the fan base to be connected first to the program and then to ancillary vehicles like this. During the season, it's mostly the weekly stories, but more content is coming to the football history site after the season. www.hoyafootball.com/

If you aren't on X, you don't exist to the current generation of kids. It's as simple as that.
