The Big East cross country meet will be held on Saturday in Wisconsin. Villanova will be the favorite in the men's race, while the Hoyas are favorite on the women's side. The men will be battling Nova and Butler for top three. Providence will give the women a battle.

I don't see Buckley listed for Providence. With her Providence would be the Hoyas fierce competitor. Without her, maybe some breathing room.

It is time for the men to step up. This will be a good warmup to Regionals, as well as competing against Villanova and Butler.

Very strong performance by the women and it validates their outstanding showing at Nuttycombe. Chloe Scrimgeour is really cementing her place as a top ten nationally ranked runner. If the women can stay injury free, there is a good chance for them to make some serious noise at the upcoming Regionals meet.

Men's placing: Place: 3 Score: 71 Villanova Place: 2 Score: 42 Butler Place: 1 Score: 36 Providence Place: 4 Score: 75 Commentator on the ever-shaky FloSports indicated Nova came in with 90% chance of winning. Ouch.
