This is what a bad faith argument by a person with zero integrity looks like. Thank you Sununu for so succinctly encapsulating the Republican Party. We now live a country where not wanting an insurrectionist felon as president makes you an “elite”. It’s so patently stupid and reductive, but this is what you sign up for when you ride with Trump: turn your brain off and justify the unjustifiable. www.politico.com/news/2024/04/14/sununu-stephanopoulos-trump-00152133

Suddenly you morons pretend to have standards? Look who the presumptive nominee of your cult is. A group of House Republicans from New York wants to strip expelled former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) of many of the privileges he enjoys as a former member of Congress. www.axios.com/2024/04/14/george-santos-house-floor-republicans

Aka the McConnell death watch statute. FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Republican lawmakers in Kentucky on Friday removed the Democratic governor from any role filling future U.S. Senate vacancies — a move supporters said was unrelated to recent scrutiny about the health of the state’s senior senator, Republican leader Mitch McConnell. apnews.com/article/kentucky-legislature-governor-f4d0ab8ffaec1a435ac52515c67d8f0e

Wise words from an incredibly articulate genius who is definitely all there mentally. Nope, not a thing wrong with this guy. I hate hearing this guy talk, but you have to listen until the end where it goes from gibberish to barely even English.

I'm waiting to see if Haley does a similar reversal in order to preserve her political life within a corrupt cult aka the "Republican" Party or whether she adopts a Liz Cheney position.

Is there a special school that "Republicans" must attend to prove their clown bona fides? I'm watching the sham Mayorkas impeachment trial and boy are MAGA GOPers DAF.
And I see my former friend Mike McCaul as part of the clown parade. He may have voted correctly to certify the election of Biden and has taken the right stance on Ukraine but he still must beclown himself to be in the good graces of the morons that comprise the "Republican" party/cult.

"Republicans" are seriously damaged people. Classic hypocrisy. No explanation for such irrational thought except their love of autocracy and authoritarianism. Barr, a vocal Trump critic, says he will ‘support the Republican ticket’ in November Former attorney general William P. Barr effectively endorsed former president Donald Trump on Wednesday, despite having previously criticized Trump’s conduct while in office and once comparing him to a “defiant, 9-year-old kid.” www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/04/17/barr-vocal-trump-critic-says-he-will-support-republican-ticket-november/

See, voter fraud DOES exist . . . by "Republicans", of course. Nothing more despicable than "Republican" politcians and the morons who vote for them. PHOENIX — A top leader of the national conservative group Turning Point Action, which has amplified false claims of election fraud by former president Donald Trump and others, resigned Thursday after being accused of forging voter signatures on official paperwork so that he could run for reelection in the Arizona House. Smith is aligned with some of the most conservative members of the Arizona House — sometimes referred to as the “Freedom Caucus” of the larger Republican caucus — and he has previously derided signature verification work by local election officials as “a joke.” During his time with Turning Point Action, Smith worked to support the candidacies of conservatives who spread false information about elections. At a rally in Washington on Jan. 5, 2021, Smith tweeted a photo of himself speaking to “thousands of patriots.” In that since-deleted tweet, he urged followers: “Don’t get comfortable” and to “fight like hell.” The next day, as Congress met to certify the 2020 election results, the U.S. Capitol came under attack. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/04/18/austin-smith-turning-point-action-election-fraud/

He seriously enabled Trump while he was AG. It appeared for a while that there might be a modicum of hope for him, but that has now proved incorrect.

Seemed like a "normal" conservative but little did we know.

I wonder what it feels like to be a hypocritical POS with no moral compass? "Republicans" never believed in anything so those who aligned with them must really feel like fools. But you are as dumb as you feel, morons. Sununu spent months talking about how Trump should not be his party’s nominee for president. Last summer he wrote that he himself would not be running for president because “beating Trump is more important.” In January, when he was stumping for Nikki Haley, he said that Trump “can barely keep a cogent thought” without a teleprompter. At an event in February, he explained his belief that Trump wouldn’t be the party’s standard-bearer forever by saying that “a--holes come and go.” As he said all this, he added a caveat: He’d support the eventual GOP nominee, even if it was Trump. A sight to behold: the slow parade of Trump-averse Republicans as they trudge toward supporting the nominee. www.washingtonpost.com/style/power/2024/04/18/they-didnt-want-trump-theyll-live-with-republican-nominee/

Rats deserting a MAGA GOP sinking ship, hopefully. A 36-year-old House Republican who has served in Congress just three years said Thursday he will not seek reelection in November. Why it matters: Rep. Jake LaTurner's (R-Kan.) retirement is a stark addition to a trend of House members in both parties sprinting for the exits after a year filled with infighting and discord. www.axios.com/2024/04/18/jake-laturner-retire-house-gop-kansas
