Looking forward to seeing that aggressiveness when he’s not the biggest player on the court next year… If he hits the ground running, then Sorber, plus senior Mutombo, super senior Cook and soph (with a lot of experience) Drew will make a very competitive BE front court in 24-25.

My goodness. This kid has a full toolbox of skills. He said his favorite players are Embiid and Jokic, he went out lost the baby fat. Getting more explosive everyday and is becoming a 2 and done type.

Not counting chickens, but Sorber and Fielder can be a very good young front court next year. Expecting Fielder to just get stronger with a lot of experience to come this season

All can post. All can faceup. All can drive. All can shoot. All can pass.

This is huge. Kudos to the coaching staff for keeping him onboard and not letting somebody else poach him before signing day.

"Thoughts on Georgetown commit Thomas Sorber It wasn't the best game from four-star Georgetown signee Thomas Sorber but he had his work cut out for him against Jackson Reed. When a big is the focal point around this part of the country, it can be difficult with getting good looks when not double and triple teamed in the post. That was the case for Sorber, every time he touched it he was swarmed by defenders but he still showed areas where he has improved and why there's a lot to be excited about in the years ahead. Sorber continues to get in better shape and gets leaner each time you see him. With that is coming improved athleticism in his mobility and lift off the ground. We know he has great hands, touch and knows how to excel in his role but he was also impacting the game as a rim protector by altering shots around the rim and was fighting in the paint. The Hoyas are getting a good one in Sorber." 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/article/fridays-top-performers-from-the-gonzaga-dc-classic-akbar-waheed-iii-will-harper-saxton-simley-antonio-munoz-thomas-sorber-carter-meadows-222679545/

Best big since Monroe. Really excited for our 5 spot next year with Cook and Sorber. He’s going to be an absolute star his junior and senior years.
