Congratulations to Malcolm. I wish him the very best. It seems to me that he could have been developed to be a much better player. I dont understand why he was not. I’ll bet he was an excellent student. It’s a real mystery why most of the guys failed to develop over the last six years.

Malcolm could have read that comment any number of ways - I think it was meant with only good intentions and wanting the best for Malcolm in all situations - but it could have been read as someone lecturing him on Twitter to a large audience, and Malcolm handled it with class - he posted a Thank You to every person who wished him well in that post's comments. Really rooting for Malcolm to get what he wants out of his final year and use it for bigger and better things.

Really, really wish him well. Took one for the team (and his coach) first semester last year. There are some unfavorable compare and contrasts that come to mind, which I obliquely reference only as a way of noting it is easy to turn tail and/or grouse and an admirable thing when a young man just sucks it up and helps out however he can. Best wishes, Malcom!

I wish him nothing but the best. Probably my favorite of all in the portal. Class.

If I am not mistaken, Wilson got All Big East Academic honors the last three seasons, and I assume he will this coming year too, and graduate. He did something very few people do now--stay at a university when they are not getting playing time--and doing it while the team was struggling mightily. And, he stuck with it despite essentially getting kicked off the team to become a manager, only to come back. And never publicly complaining about any of it. I know he didn't play much, but he was by all accounts a good guy and loyal to Georgetown and presumably valued the education he was receiving too.

I hope Malcolm gets playing time and has fun at Queens. Apparently he is a star in the classroom (which may keep us out of sanctions) and a team player and by all accounts a class act even when he was made into a manager. He deserves all the best along with his GTown degree, and I hope he gets it.

Very happy for Malcolm. Seems like a great kid with a terrific head on his shoulders. Congrats to him and his family!

Class act who handled adversity well and kept focused on the goal of graduating from the Hilltop rather than chasing PT elsewhere. Family should be proud. Welcome young man to the alumni fraternity which enables you to second guess all things Georgetown including the basketball team. Happy to have you in our ranks.

Blair stayed 4 years and graduated, so I don't think this is correct. But 2 in 6 years shows that it was a problem (it remains unclear whether Pickett actually graduated).

Congrats to Malcolm! He had an up and down time on the court as a Hoya but I'm proud that he was able to walk with a degree.
