I have to assume this liar also has fake family values. MAGA GOPers are vile despicable liars and hypocrites. A ‘fake family’ photo takes center stage in battleground House race STAFFORD, Va. — The attack ad in Virginia’s most competitive congressional race starts off like something out of a sitcom. An actor resembling Derrick Anderson, a Republican looking to flip Virginia’s battleground 7th District, comes home to greet life-size cardboard cutouts of a woman and three young girls. The stand-in Anderson eats dinner with the pictures, plays board games across the table from them and then joins them to watch a movie. It was a biting callout to an image that has dogged the former Army Green Beret for the past month: Anderson, who recently got engaged and does not have kids, shot campaign footage this year that showed him posing with the wife and three daughters of a friend — a scene that critics pounced on as giving the false impression he was the patriarch of the nuclear family. www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2024/10/28/derrick-anderson-congress-virginia-7th-district-vindman/And, yet, not in the top 50 of ridiculous sh!t "Republicans" have done in the past 4-8 years such that it probably won't affect him at all.

We know who Demented Donnie is but shouldn't we thank him for actually revealing how racist the "Republican" fascist cult really is? For years the cult kept it hidden. Nixon's Southern Strategy drew all the Dixiecrat racists and others to the GOP in response to the Civil Rights Acts. The comedian who let loose a series of racist jokes, some about Puerto Rico, at former President Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday night workshopped the material the night before at a local comedy club. The comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe, called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” to warm up the New York City crowd — drawing immediate criticism from across the political spectrum and derailing what was supposed to be a night highlighting Trump in the final stretch of the campaign. www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/tony-hinchcliffe-trump-rally-racist-puerto-rico-remarks-rcna177587

Fascist neo-Nazi Demented Donnie calls MSG Rally an "absolute lovefest." Vile despicable people. How many HoyaTalk "Republicans" are on board with their cult? I can think of at least two. Probably more, but are they afraid to state their depravity publicly even behind the anonymity of this chatboard? Trump defends New York rally where opening speakers lobbed racist remarks www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2024/10/29/2024-election-campaign-updates-harris-trump/

Another loss for vote suppressing MAGA cultists. This time targeting military voters. But remember this is merely setting a false predicate to declare the 2024 election fraudulent if and when Don the Con loses. Judge strikes down GOP effort to change rules over military, overseas ballots A federal judge in Pennsylvania threw out a lawsuit brought by six Republican congressmen from the state that sought stricter scrutiny of ballots from overseas, including from members of the military stationed abroad. The lawmakers claimed in their lawsuit that because local election officials in Pennsylvania are not required to verify the identity or eligibility of voters who register overseas, those ballots are vulnerable to fraud. They wanted election officials to be required to set aside those ballots and not count them until voter eligibility can be determined. The judge dismissed the case on several grounds, including that the members of Congress lacked standing and they filed the lawsuit too close to the election. The judge said the lawsuit’s claims of “vote dilution” is “wholly speculative and legally inadequate” as is the lawmakers’ assertion that the overseas ballots harm their electoral prospects. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/10/29/judge-strikes-down-gop-effort-change-rules-over-military-overseas-ballots/

I'm sure they meant to say, "radical left Democrat," or "hired by the Harris campaign." Must've just been an oversight.

Christian "hardliners" sounds like an oxymoron, kinda like "militant" Buddhists in Myanamar (Burma)? Actually more like the American version of the Taliban. Christo-fascists. In a race they cast as good vs. evil, Christian hard-liners are fired up for Trump “We have every right there is to tell the Devil: ‘You take your hands off this nation!’” roared televangelist Kenneth Copeland, who put on a U.S. flag jacket and red MAGA hat when he took the stage. The scene could have come from any of the hard-right Christian road shows now barnstorming the country, with a focus on swing states in a razor-close election. Extremism analysts say the tours serve as both a get-out-the-vote juggernaut and a power flex for a Christian supremacist movement that aims to transform the church the same way MAGA did the GOP: by forcing out moderates. Ministers like Copeland preach that Christianity is the bedrock of American identity and should influence all aspects of society, ideas central to Christian nationalism. Speakers urged believers to remove college presidents, mayors, city managers, school boards and anyone else they viewed as an obstacle to Bible-based governance. Bit by bit, they are trying to dismantle the separation between church and state in what extremism monitors warn is a growing threat to pluralistic democracy. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/10/29/christian-nationalists-trump-church-state/

For the "vote your wallet" crowd: Only care about your pocketbook? Trump is still the wrong choice. So what if Donald Trump admires Nazis? That’s old news, the former president’s allies retort. Besides, voters only care about their pocketbooks anyway. Even if that’s true — that voters prioritize their narrow financial interests over democracy — Trump is still the wrong choice this election. His policies will make Americans not only less free, but also poorer. The core elements of his economic agenda: 10 percent or 20 percent universal tariffs (including on the groceries Americans buy); mass deportations (including of millions of workers who harvest crops and build homes); and politicizing the Federal Reserve, which controls the money supply. Each of these policies would worsen inflation, tank the economy and/or widen budget deficits. Dozens of independent analysts — from the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Goldman Sachs, Pantheon Macroeconomics, the American Enterprise Institute, the Brookings Institution, Morgan Stanley, Penn Wharton Budget Model, the Yale Budget Lab and UBS, among others — have assessed the economic fallout of Trump’s plans. While they differ on scope of the potential damage, virtually all predict it would be significant. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/10/29/trump-economy-inflation-tariffs-fascism-2024/
